Favorite Words
What are some of your favorite words? I was watching the last 5 rounds of the 2010 Scripps National Spelling Bee, and was inspired to think of my favorites. *gets list out* Yes, I do keep a list. Actually, whenever I see a word I like, I write it down (after looking it up in the dictionary if I've never seen it in my life or asking someone). *nodnod* xD Okay, so here they are: soubresout, gyokuro, leishmanic, infundibuliform, epiphysis, hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia (the fear of long words, pronounced hippo-pot-o-mons-tro-sis-quip-ped-al-io-phobia), phlegmatic, idiosyncrasy, hoomalimali, limn, vivisepulture, and appogiatura. And others. xD
Soo-oo, what are some of your favorites? xD *feels cheesy*

Didn't someone already do something like this?
*wants to search through all the previous cricket posts, but feels too lazy and lethargic*
My word: lethargic

Eh...I dunno. =] There wasn't anything like this on the first though third pages...and I'm too lazy to search through all the pages...so...yeah. xD
Anyway: To the top! xD

Also crwth. I love that word. And gound! And gese, even though it doesn't technically exist anymore.

I take that back; it's only for NaNo. In JulMo, you can continue a novel you're working on as long as you write 50,000 words more.

Um, sorry, I meant to put that somewhere else. What I meant to say was, "Garrulous, pulchritudinous, artemisia, discombobulated!"

A few of mine:
Antidisestablishmentarianism. ('cause it's so long.)
Schadenfreude. (don't know it? look it up. it's great.)
Surreptitious. (doesn't it just roll off your tongue?)

Another couple are: Ailurophile, Crepuscular, and Equillibrium.

Tardigrade, gravitas!

Agog!
Aetc says wckr. His favorite word is wicker.
(July 2, 2010 - 8:25 pm)
Bibcock! Neologism! Lunulae! Borborygmus! Bibliophile! Bibliomaniac! Biblioteca!
Aetc says ikuf—for the 2nd time! Wow. I guess that's his favorite... um... utterance (as it isn't a word, really, as far as I know--either way, it's a neologism. I love it's double meaning, so that it can be used either way!).
Utterance! Felid! Canid! Arthropod! *decides not to use anymore biology terms, or else she'll go on forever, probably* Neophyte! Moneran (oops... So much for the no biology terms. I couldn't help myself... Okay, I'll stop now.)!
Sorry if I've already used any of those; I'm not checking! I love the English language. I guess that may explain why I'm posting so much more than anyone else. Protozoan--ugh! Sorry... Caboodle! Cantankerous! Quidditch (am I allowed to use that? Please?)! My computer doesn't recognize that word. I think there must be something wrong with it. It doesn't know Muggle, either, but it knows Hogwarts, probably because it's a plant.

Oops. I've already said utterance. Oh, well...
(July 4, 2010 - 2:19 pm)
Here are more! :D I keep thinking of more words! xD
Schadenfreude, Onomatopoeia, Bijou (French for jewel, but also English), Pablum, Peloton, and Nexus. Which is also in my Uru Live game. xD
Spammy says "muew". I think you mean "meow", dear Spammy.
