Writing a Story.

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Writing a Story.

Writing a Story. So, I'm writing a story in Language Arts, and I neede a bit of advice. Anyone mind helping?

So, my character has been betrayed by one of her closest friends because she has been unknowingly infusing magic into cookies at her bakery. Where she lives, magic is illegal for most people. Can anyone help me with a way to write the confrontation between the two? I want my character to find out who betrayed her face-to-face. She's in prison right now, if you need a setting.

Ooh, I'd love to help! If only I knew how... Hm.

So, to be clear, is she in prison because she accidentally put magic into her cookies, and this friend discovered this and reported her? I just want to make sure I get the facts right. I think I could work with this.

Yeah, that's basically the idea here.

Uh, so would you like me to write out the scene in my own style and then you do your interpretation, or just describe what might happen?

Maybe, I was thinking, I could write it from the perspective of the betrayer and you write it from the perspective of the protagonist.
