You wake up,
Chatterbox: Inkwell
You wake up,
You wake up, the sun in shining through your window and reflecting off the fairy lights on your canopy bed. You're eyes are still heavy as you set your bed and braid your extremely long, pure white hair into two braids, allowing your bangs to settle neatly on your forehead.
By the time you arrive downstairs, your adoptive mom has made breakfast, and you sit down to eat.
Waffles! you think. Digging into your favorite breakfast meal, you thank your mom with a full mouth.
"Oh, don't worry about it dear, I thought I'd surprise you on you first day of Eleventh Grade!"
You sigh, two more years until college and you still don't know what you want to study.
"Where are Reagan and Hallie?" You ask, looking around for your step-siblings while sprinkling powder sugar on the rest of your meal.
"They've already left for school, those two are inseparable."
"Oh, ok." Of course they left without you, why would the two most popular girls in school want to hang out with you, the girl with no friends.
"Well, I better get going. School's not going to wait for me itself!" You joke, distracting yourself.
"Ok, have fun Akiyo!"
You grab your backpack, hopped on you bike and headed to Hillswade Highschool
School was fine, you learned what you needed to learn, avoided everything that breathes (even though your only wish is to at least have ONE friend), and started riding home.
But then you remember it's Monday, you sigh happily and make a left instead of a right into your neighborhood.
Monday is exploring day, the day where you go down one new road so you'll know where to go when you finally take driving lessons.
You've already been down all the side neighborhoods on this street, Copper Drive, Holbrook Circle, and Seaside Road, so you keep going forward. Suddenly, you spot a dirt trail that has a sign next to it. This definitely wasn't here before.
"Hollydroop Avenue." You say aloud, turning onto it.
Everywhere you look, there's trees. Dense forest surrounds you until you realize, the path you're on has disappeared.
You keep going straight, but you're starting to worry. The trees are so thick you can't see where the sun is in the sky.
Almost ten minutes later, there's a building (yes, in the middle of nowhere). Almost like a giant warehouse, you ditch your bike and backpack and walk up to the front door. At least, you think it's the front door.
"Hello!? Is anyone there!?" You yell as you knock on the large door. Huh, you think. No windows.
The doors open after five more knocks, showing you a dark room.
"Thank you so much, I was beginning to think I was all alone out... here..." You look around, no one.
Suddenly, an infinite amount of flickering lights illuminate the space, a space filled almost entirely with crates and boxes.
"Okayyyyyyy.... This is strange."
You creep in, taking winding turns around the large piles of wooden boxes, noticing how after you pass a light, it flickers out ominously. Next thing you know, you're sitting on the ground, hyperventilating because there's only one light left. The one above you.
You sit there, pondering on how you even got into this mess, when you hear someone approaching from your right. You turn you head to see a hooded figure walking towards you, the ceiling lights following his movement.
Then he's right in front of you.
"Hi..." You squeak, scooting away slowly.
"...Hi there. You seem to be lost." He says, kneeling down. He sounds around sixteen or seventeen years old.
You try to see his face, but the light wasn't bright enough too learn anything.
"You're scared, would you like me to escort you to the exit. I will also lead you out of the woods too, if you'd like."
"I don't even know you." You say, narrowing your eyes.
The figure stands up a laughs, a comforting sound.
"You've got that right. But I want you out of here as much as you do. This isn't necessarily a cool place to go snooping around, that's for sure."
He extends his hand to help you up, you feel like you can't fully trust him, but he can control the lights, so....
"Ok." You say, reaching for his hand.
But the very moment you feel his cold skin, you simply plunge through the smooth flooring, as if it wasn't even there, and keep falling as you watch the hooded guy stand straighter, not even making an attempt to help you as you keep falling into the night.
Down, down, your body tingling and, morphing? It feels different, furry even.
Then you hit the ground.

Part 2 of Golden Hope. (Yeesh, I have cheesy names) I made another post with this in it but no one went to it, lol. I don't think they knew what it was so here y'all.
*the first person experience is only for the intro for each character, you'll see how that works soon. But now, it's 2nd/3rd person for Akiyo."
Akiyo remains still, she'd just fallen from quite a high height, so all she wanted to do now is lie motionless and wait for her fuzzy body to stop aching
Wait-
FUZZY???
She bolted to her feet, ignoring the stabs of pain throughout her body, and looked down.
She was still wearing her clothes, a light blue ombre shirt with a medium length black skirt, but her legs were pure white with fur. Her body was different too, her legs and feet were shaped like an animals' and she could almost "feel" her long hair falling behind her shoulders.
"What am I???" She whispered out loud, mostly to herself. She decided to find something so she could see her face, which would probably be difficult considering the circumstances.
Her surroundings were in almost complete darkness, except for what little light was shining from no source, so she could only barely see the body of water around five yards away from her.
She slowly approached it, nervous to see her face as if it would make her explode on sight.
She could've never expected what she saw next.
Her entire body was rabbitized, she was literally a bunny on two feet. Her legs, arms, torso, everything. Bunny. She even had a fluffy tail. And the "hair" she could "feel", were two long, floppy ears. Sure, she had normal hair, but it was very short and barely made it past her eyes.
"What in the world is happening..."
After about ten minutes of way too much staring, she decided to step away and breathe.
"Ok, ok, it's fine, I'm fine, everything's fine. I'll wake up and- OH MY GOSH I HAVE FOUR FINGERS!!!" Akiyo screamed, noticing that her hand/paw had a thumb, a pointer finger, a middle finger, and a pinkie. And JUST those.
Just as she was wondering whether or not she should start pinching herself to wake up, she heard whining.
"Who's there?" She whipped around to see a little snout poking into the light.
"Aw, hi there little fella. Are you lost too?" She cooed, stepping closer. But the moment she was a yard away, the creature started growling, stood up and came into the light.
It was a red eyed, wolf like creature, but it had six legs, three on either side of it's enormous body, and it's skinny tail was adorned with sharp spikes and whipping back and forth.
"Oh come on!" Akiyo yelled, falling backwards, "I just wanted to help!"
What was strange though, was that everything the mean girls at her school had ever said to her was replaying in her head, growing louder as the beast crawled closer. Akiyo tensed as it prepared to lunge at her, but then a blue blur ran past her and swiped at the creature.
At closer examination, the blur was a cat. But like her, he was wearing clothes and was walking on two legs.
"Is everyone here an animal thing!!??" She shouted, flinching as a hand rested on her shoulder.
"Ha, nope." The voice belonging to the hand laughed. The hand was attached to someone with a round, sun and moon face. The sun side had sun-spikes and light blue freckles, and the moon side had a sleep cap with stars on it and permanent yellow blush lines.
"Who are you?!"
"My names Bhaasu!" The sun/moon guy smiled, leading her away.
"Who was that back there? The blue cat in the yellow hoodie." She asked, just now noticing that Bhaasu didn't have any legs, just sparkling strings with silver stars on the end, making him float.
Bhaasu sighed as if annoyed by the mention of the cat. "That's Zahar. Don't worry, he'll be fine... Maybe. I don't really know. Hopefully not." Bhaasu explained, continuing forward.
"...What was that thing?"
"You really like questions, don't you. Not to worry, I know almost everything, though I must admit most of it is pasta info... Anyway, that was a Hate Hound. It tears you down with words before it attacks, thankfully, it can easily be defeated if you choose to stand up for yourself."
"Okay... Where-"
"Where are you? You are in a secret underground dimension with no way to escape, leaving you here with possible friends and/or enemies to pass the time while you're stuck here. :)"
"... You're joking right?"
"Ehh, he got one thing wrong." The blue cat, Zahar, says, coming up behind Akiyo and making Bhaasu flinch. "You're not stuck here with friends and enemies, just people that you can annoy WAY too easily."
"Oh, you made it. yayyyy...." Bhaasu says unenthusiastically, floating on ahead.
"See ya at camp!!!"" Zahar shouted to Bhaasu, receiving a droopy thumbs-up in response. "He's being overdramatic, what a goofball."
"Where are we going?" Akiyo asked after a little while in silence.
Zahar stopped by a wall of vines and smiled. "Here." He parted the vines and revealed an open are filled with strange looking tents and people.
