I heard talk of reviving Kyngdom again, and I really want to help! I thought it'd be good for anyone who wants to help to have a thread on the CB? Sorry if I am being pushy or if there were other plans, I just got excited!
I think it will be a pretty big project, and so we should make a plan. … But I don't know where to start XD Pangolin had a LOT of great ideas that they posted on the Kyngdom Live Chat. They also have a great RP posted on the RP board you should check out (along with Poinsettia's and my RP, and the Woodland RP if it's still active!)
I believe the plan that the CBers had come up with to revive Kyngdom before was that everything now would take place about ten years later, right? That way we don't delete all of the past Kyngdomer's work, but can also move on and come up with our own new ideas. Please correct me if I'm wrong. There's a lot of things I don't understand about the original plan, does anyone know what the plan was, if there was one?

I think so, yes (for the 10 year time-skip). And hehee, the woodland rp I think is still active, I'm just taking forever to post a response (I say it's active bc me, Moon Wolf, Nyxie/Genevieve (with incorrect spelling), and pangolin are active, and I think that's who's in it). But yes! Here's pangolin's RP, which hasn't started yet, is very low-stakes - perfect for beginners - and, well, she explains it best:

Yes, that was the plan! So far there are a few RPs working along those lines. The Nobyl RP, for instance, is about how some of Kyngdom's elite families band together to help Kyngdom. Other than that there isn't much of a plan; the new plot is being determined within the RPs, I think. I believe that during those ten years, Catastrophe and BIG (the villains of the story) have been ruling Kyngdom peacefully, without any major events - but the Resistance movement (comprised of the heroes of the story) is growing secretly...

I really want to get back into it, I've just been so busy that I haven't been able to. But I hope to see y'all there soon! Kyngdom is truly remarkable and it would be wOnDeRfUl to have it fully revived. Thanks for re-generating interest in it, Periwinkle :)

Yess the revival of Kyngdom! (Time to bridge the gap between Inkwell and Kyngdom island!) Not exactly sure how this is going to work but I'd be happy to be a part of the revival haha. :)

Great! We've already got some RPs up and running. Pangolin posted on the live chat with her ideas, one of which was to post on Kyngdom's main page since it's people's introduction to Kyngdom, and seeing "Last post was 3 years ago" is not particularly welcoming. We can post on the art thread, which is pretty straightforward. I still don't really understand how the Bog & Burrow works, but maybe we could start using that again too. As lore is updated, we can add it to Myths and Legends (that is what Myths and Legends is for, right? Correct me if I'm wrong) I think as we have RPs happening and an active main page, more people will feel encouraged to join. What does everyone think?
Also: I am not trying to steal/take credit for pangolin's ideas!! Please let it be known that these are pangolin's thoughts and I am acting based off them. I just want to help revive Kyngdom!

Oh, awesome! Thanks for making this thread, Peri (and for making sure to credit me :] I appreciate it)! Here are some more ideas for reviving each thread on Kyngdom's main face.
Kyngdom Live Chat: maybe it can be Kyngdom’s version of the Random Thoughts/Things thread. We can discuss the plot moving forward, and I’ve also seen people post surveys on there in the past—we can definitely bring that back :)
Kyngdom Q&A: we can encourage Kyngdomers to ask questions, but beyond that, I don't think we need to do anything.
Tale: Two Kyngdoms: not entirely sure what to do with this. I’ll read through it when I get a chance. It could probably become an RP?
Fourth Map Fragment: not sure. Maybe this can become a thread for discussing Kyngdom’s geography and general worldbuilding?

A Travel Guide: haven’t read this one through, either, but we could probably turn it into an RP?
Hornshaw Travel Diaries: This could probably be an RP—any ideas?
Story So Far: we can link the Ultimate Guide to Kyngdom and Poinsettia’s Quick Kyngdom Summary, maybe? And perhaps we could post updates periodically on everything that’s been happening in Kyngdom—what do you guys think?

Myths and Legends: like Peri said, we can add lore here! We can also write about holidays and traditions, different species and areas of Kyngdom, etc—just details about Kyngdom’s culture!
Bog+Burrow: I’m not entirely sure what this is about, but this could become some sort of RP—maybe a FaFA base or just a filler RP?
Power Origin Ideas: not really sure. We could maybe write up a post about the origins of the Powers and the early history of Kyngdom? Anyone else have any ideas?
Mission at BIG: not sure. I have to read through this one, too. Maybe a BIG RP? Anyone else have any ideas?
Capt’n O Meetings: There isn’t anything we can do here—Capt’n O isn’t really a thing anymore.
Also, do we want to revive the Kyngdom groups? It might be useful for planning, but it could also overcomplicate things? What do you guys think?

Ofc! Thanks for responding with so many ideas! Here's my thoughts (though tbh I've only just glanced through most of these and am still pretty behind)
Kyngdom Live Chat - yes this could totally be the Random/Thoughts thread for Kyngdom! I think it'd be super helpful for new kyngdomers to have an active thread like this and Q&A to go make friends and ask questions.
Kyngdom Q&A - yes! I agree :] As we get more experienced and start developing a plot, we should all try to check in there fairly often to answer questions.
Tale: Two Kyngdoms - looks like some sort of rp, yeah. Maybe we could continue it? I'd have to look through it; we might want to wait until after the holidays
Fourth Map Fragment - sure, that's a pretty good idea! Kyngdom's geography/worldbuilding can get confusing, so it'd be great to have an easy reference page for it :]
I agree there's not much to be done with Note From the Editors.
A Travel Guide - yes it looks like it was originally an rp so maybe we can just continue with that?

Bog + Burrow - skimmed this and it honestly just looks like an rp that never really started/only got halfway off the ground. Seems like a fun filler rp and it'd actually be super cool if there was a secret FaFA base or something; could act as as great, low-stakes rp for those on the side of FaFA and since there wasn't too much rping we can just pick up ten years later? If anyone read this closer and I'm wrong and it's a more intense rp than I thought let me know, though

@pangolin and Periwinkle, all those ideas sound splendiferous (yes. that is a word. or at least it should be. and if you say it isn't, i will charge down upon you brandishing a dictionary). I think the Kyngdom Groups are just for the different sections of the Resistance, and Catastrophe's allies, to make plans and discuss stuff. It might be useful in future, once everything's more developed, but idk if it would really add much at this point?
@pangolin, I was having a look through the Kyngdom Groups section and saw that you posted on the Reisistance thread (back in August) with some ideas (four months later is a fine time for me to be discovering that... :/) Maybe the Resistance's discoveries during the last ten years should be centered around helping the Powers control their SAPs rather than a prophecy? We can always work in a prophecy later. Idk, just a suggestion. I believe you're right that all the Powers are allied with the Resistance, except possibly for Claaws? I think she might be semi-evil. In any case, the SAPs are all definitely allied with Catastrophe, except for Ciaran. Oh, I just thought of something - one storyline to explore could be the SAPs' possible disloyalty to Catastrophe. They'd probably be more interested in getting power for themselves than in actually helping some random king. Though if everyone does want to include that, we should probably leave it for later so as not to complicate things further, I guess.
Oh gosh controlling the Powers and SAPs is going to be tricky, since their original creators are no longer here... I personally think that we should all decide together what they're going to do; or maybe we could create our own representatives and executives (generals and so on) who are working for the Powers, so as not to have to depict the Powers directly. I believe that's what we were doing for Catastrophe, so maybe it could work here too.
Huh, who is running the Resistance? I can't recall any specific character who was in charge. I'd love to hear the ideas for charries that you mentioned :)
I'm definitely up for a mission to reclaim Lord Helion's palace! (For those who don't know, Lord Helion, one of Catastrophe's generals, invaded the palace of a Nobyl family and took it for himself.) My Nobyl character, Zara, has been kind of left hanging, and I'd love to have an actual storyline for her.
Anyway, those are just random ideas I've had :)

I'm happy to join Kyngdom if it gets rebooted and to rp a bit but I don't have a ton of time to dedicate to big rps or to helping set up a whole structure or whatever. I think mostly we just need to get people to join and just start doing it, but if we're doing a ten year time skip I think we should at least work out the basics of what's happened in those ten years so we know where to start.
