Torusadour. A country known for its magnificent architecture, vast variety of botanical gardens, and above all else; the glamour and glimmer of its flamboyant high class.
The year was 1924, and life had never been better for them after the wildly fruitful War of Corabetskie. The era came to be known as the ‘Victory Feast Age’ by President Kesley J. Oriven, and true to its name; the wealthy made sure to eat their fill.
Faster cars, fancier clothes, finer perfumes. Everything had to be the best of the best; education was no exception.
Of course, the public schools of the country were renowned as some of the best in the world. But the private schools? Those were even better.
Especially one boarding school in particular; the Lysander Winslow Academy. Smartest professors, most polished courses, biggest library…
Everyone who was anyone sent their teens there. From celebrities and CEOs to politicians and high-ranking military officials; if their names were recognizable, their kids were enrolled in that academy.
The boarding school was now reopening its doors after previously shutting them on behalf of the War, and applications were being sent in droves. Acceptance letters were getting thrown right back.
To the relief of everyone, things were just as they were before. The war changed nothing.
...Right?

4. Please stick to the setting! 1920s Torusadour is practically the same as 1920s USA, minus the Prohibition.
5. Foreign exchange students are allowed, but please note that Zdroiskan and Agorusen students would be solely from political or high-ranking military families. Foreign exchange students from Noretsk and Siraden do not apply to this rule, as their governments function differently. No students from Lazagkrus or Vlastyia are allowed.*
6. You may make multiple characters.
*Noretsk and Siraden are allies with Torusadour. Zdroiska and Agorus have a very fragile peace with Torusadour. Lazagkrus and Vlastyia are considered enemies of Torusadour.

Hello everyone! Tenebrous here. I would like to start by apologizing for the abandonment of The Phantoms of the Photographs (https://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/545088). The summer was far more packed than I anticipated, and it got away from me. Upon revisiting the story, I felt as if the plot I had in mind was flimsy, lazy, and quite frankly; dull.
So, I went back to the drawing board, and cooked up something new!. I'm rather fond of it, and I hope you are too. Thank you for your patience! <3

Sorry everyone! Usually I try to get a chapter out once a week, but Chapter 2 seems like it's going to take a little longer. My cold turned into a fever when I thought it was almost better, so I was sick again and had to catch up on my missed school on top of that. This hasn't been abandoned, just thought I'd clarify!

Dear Reader,
My apologies for the delay everyone! It's been a good chunk of time since autumn, but fear not! This story is far from abandoned. I had a terrible disease called writer's block, but a healthy prescription of inspiration has me up and moving again!
The crowd of the CB always changes and moves, so I stand by my rule that I'll still accept new characters even though the story has started. You know, just incase anyone who didn't see this originally is stumbling upon this reboot now. Worry not original crowd, your characters still get first dibs!
With that said, hello again CB! Admins! I hope you're all well! Chapter 2 currently has an 1,116 word count, and my goal is at least over 2,000. I've written double that in a day before, but I want to ensure quality over quantity. It won't be long, but long enough.
Well, I better get to it!

yayy it is bAcK!!!! Also looking back at my older comments I do not understand what I am saying XD. Prosphelt?? X=wrong?? Very glad you are too?? Whaa?? But either way, yayyyyy!!!!! Also I thought I knew the difference between "who" and "whom" (when you can replace with "she" or "he", use "who", when you can replace with "her" or "him", use "whom", but I don't think that rule works actually...)... do you mind explaining the difference please? :)

Name: Miyetka Von Engels
Age: 15
Gender: female
Voice: She can change her voice but typically she goes with a sort of regal voice with a slight Russian accent. It's cold, and ever-so-slightly high-pitched.
Physical Appearance: Miyetka has dark blue hair that is cropped abruptly at her shoulder (it was cut with a knife in rebellion). Her eyes are an icy blue-ish color (or, if you'll allow for it in this, cyan- if not, that's fine). She typically wears either whatever uniform is needed or a suit with a blue tie (with silver pins arranging into a sideways "X"). Standing at 5'11, Miyetka is quite the menace.
Personality: She's highly intelligent - that's to be expected. Not just highly intelligent- she's genuinely an extremely bright student. However, she's socially isolated- she's rather cold and unforgiving, with a sort of threatening demeanor. A quote from Sayeon, Hand Jumper- "Even if god himself gave him my notes, they still wouldn't be able to take my #1 ranking."
Parent('s) Job(s): Her mother is a CEO of an extremely successful financial company, while her father is a former high-ranking military general.
Background (OPTIONAL): Hmm, I'll come back to this.
Strengths: She's highly intelligent and can think very quickly and analytically. She doesn't use much emotion in her thought and her judgement is usually almost copmletely unbiased.
Weaknesses: She's socially isolated and doesn't do well in group-work. She doesn't do well in emotions and she has very little friends and is bad at social itneraction in general.
Dreams: She wants to succeed her mother as CEO and then go on to start more branches and become... more successful.

Gender: female
Voice: a high-pitched, sing-song voice that's very ditzy and dreamy.
Physical Appearance: Brown hair that's tied back in a ponytail and emerald green eyes. She always wears white fingerless gloves, a t-shirt, and shorts. Up to you what else. 5'2.
Personality: She's very social and loves talking to people. She's definitely a daydreamer- always zones out in class. She has lofty dreams that she may never reach- but one can hope, can't they? Melody is rather childish in her mannerisms, but maybe that's to make up for a lack of childhood.
Parent('s) Job(s): Her mother is a famous singer. Her father is, well, absent.
Background (OPTIONAL): All you need to know is that Melody never really had a childhood. (Her mother, after all, was constantly on tour- and she was only really for the camera.)
Strengths: She's very social and good at mediating fights and breaking them up.
Weaknesses: She fails to be rational in her decisions.
Dreams: She wants to someday become a famous singer like her mom - because that's the only way her mom will pay attention to her.
Pick a color: A lilac-lavender purple.
Shipping?: Sure.
Other: Her nicknames are "Melo" and "Lody". She doesn't like the name "Mizu".
feel free to change mizu's name however you wish - since it's jp it might not be, ah, quite 1920s.
