Male or Female: Male

Personality: Slow and steady. He isn't scared easily and likes to take his time to do things, 'following his rhythm' he puts it. Doesn't talk much, but his mind is quick.

Voice: Bass. The type of slow, sleep-inducing voice you would find in BBC podcasts, or from your standard history teacher.

Physical Appearance: Still quite tall when compared with people his age, but it would be actually slightly below average when put together with youngsters. Has middle length, straight gray hair fading to white at the edges, with a clean-shaven face. Often found in comfortable shirts (mostly checkered) and soft, flexible long pants (always dark blue). Has hazel eyes, and his face isn't as wrinkled as you might think.

Family (i.e. Spouse, children, old parents... OPTIONAL!): Nope, Nada.

Strengths: Quick to analyze, thinks out of the box, sly, quick witted, and has surprisingly long and flexible fingers...hmmm.

Weaknesses: His love for his stamp collection. And his back. It isn't as good as it was in his youth, but he will NEVER admit that.

Dreams: As in dreams in sleep? Or hopes and dreams? I'll go with hopes then: He wants to be a millionare someday. YEP.

Nightmares: Waking up to find that his favorite stamp collection has vanished. It's the only hobby he has other than exploring abandoned buildings.

Name: Reef Bryant-West

Age: 21-22ish

Male or Female: Male he/him

Personality: He’s creative, outgoing, laid back, intelligent, cheerful, responsible, and charming, and he makes friends everywhere he goes. He’d like to go to college for creative writing, but his family can’t afford it. Currently, he’s making a living and trying to save up for college by running an online store where he does cosplay and art commissions along with selling things like stickers, enamel pins, and prints that he’s designed. He likes writing and making art and cosplaying and he’d like to be a published author someday. He loves plants and has only about a million all over his small apartment, and he loves climbing trees and playing basketball, although he’s not as good at it as his twin sister who has a college scholarship for it. He’s got a strange taste in food and often likes eating things such as peanut butter and cheddar cheese sandwiches.

Voice: His voice is smooth and bright, and he’s a countertenor.

Physical Appearance: He’s got spiky light brown hair, the tips of which currently dyed alternating streaks of bright blue and neon yellow, although he changes it up every now and then. He’s sort of shortish with tan skin, and he’s got a few scars on his hands and right arm from when he tripped while carrying a glass vase of petunias while setting up for his sister’s wedding and landed on his hands, shattering the vase and landing on top of the glass (he had to go to the ER, but he managed to make it to the wedding the next day with his hands covered in bandages). His eyes aren’t any particular color, just sorta grayish greenish, and he’s got freckles on his arms and cheeks. The freckles are particularly dense on his arms, and in some places they mass together so much that it’s impossible to tell if they’re actually birthmarks or just freckles. He has small ears, which his friends sometimes tease him about, and multiple helix piercings, as well as a smallish round nose with a birthmark on the left side.

Family: He has a twin sister, who shares his love of exploring abandoned buildings, and an older sister (the one whose wedding he injured himself at) who is about 35 and happily married with two children. His older sister’s wife is an immigration attorney and likes cave diving and caving in general, which isn’t quite the same as exploring abandoned buildings but it’s sorta close, so they get along. She also taught him and his twin sister most of what they know about safety while exploring in enclosed spaces. His father and mother are both alive and while and have a house about an hour and a half away from where he lives. His twin sister has a basketball scholarship in college near where his parents live, and he’s jealous though he tries not to show it. Also he has a pet ball python, which he’s very fond of and considers to be family even if it technically isn’t

Strengths: Good at making friends, responsible, has a healthy dose of common sense, good at digital art and working with textiles, good at creative writing.

Weaknesses: Perhaps a little too friendly and trusting at times, sometimes quick to judge, has a weakness for gummy candy, especially Sour Patch Kids, especially when dipped in Nutella.

Dreams: Of becoming a published and well-known middle-grade and YA author. He’s currently in the process of writing and publishing a middle-grade science fantasy series. The manuscript for the first book is complete and he’s found an agent, now his agent is looking for a publishing company. He’d also like his online store to become more well known, as currently it isn’t, which doesn’t help his financial security, and he’d like to run a YouTube account where he does cosplay tutorials and stuff to help attract more attention to his store. He’d just like to become more financially secure in general, whether by becoming an author or by increasing the profit from his store. Also someday he thinks it would be fun to get a certification in tree climbing, the fancy official kind with ropes and harnesses that professional arborists use, and then he’d like to go tree climbing in the redwoods of California and also maybe other cool trees. He’d also like to get a dog someday. And he’d also like to somehow fit a relationship (maybe even get married someday) into this mess.

Nightmares: Of getting trapped while exploring an old building and never finding his way out, of being alone his whole life, of never managing to achieve his dreams.

Why Does This Character Like Exploring Abandoned Buildings?: Originally his twin sister dragged him into it, but now he just enjoys it all by himself. It's a good way for him to relax and it’s a good time for him to brainstorm for his writing, and even sometimes supplies inspiration for his books.
