Chatterbox: Inkwell

Weave-A-Tale 

In the responses, add a couple of sentences (anywhere from one to four) to the story, and together we'll make a magnificent tale. Don't be afraid to add anything--the story is entirely undeveloped and you can use as much creative license as you want to help us develop it.

If you close your eyes, you can almost see the stars behind your eyelids, and if you strain your ears, you can almost hear them whisper to you.
