ok, I had a thought... maybe it's too complicated, but hear me out.
I remember I had been getting Cricket for a long time before I finally worked up the courage to come on the Chatterbox... and in fact, I tried to join a couple times earlier but chickened out because it was so confusing and I didn't understand what this place was. I bet there's a lot of people who are like me. So maybe we could draft a short advertisement of sorts, explaining what the CB is and how to join and what it's like, and we could ask the admin to print it in the letterbox of one of the magazines? Could you do that, admin, if we came up with one that was ok? I think this might help get some new people on the CB and make it more active.
Yes, we could do that. I think it's a good idea! Since there are three Admins reviewing comments at different times of day, it will be easier for us if you send the text as an emai directly to:

Inviting more people would be a good thing, but luckily we already have lots of new people joining! And lots of old CBers returning.
I thought of another thing - a lot of good thread ideas are just being turned into comments on the Random Thoughts/Things thread in DtE, so maybe it would help if we made actual threads about those ideas instead. :)
