What do you think is the best writing contest ( for kids)? Oh, and Admin, do you know if Cricket is doing a writing contest next issue?

 The January contest is an art contest, but there will definitely be a writing contest sometime in the next few issues (we just haven't figured out which one yet)!

Hmm.. I really think Fantasy is the best but that's just because I can't write anything but fantasy and adventure without getting stuck.

Yeah, fantasy contests are fun. I prefer the poetry contests. I'm a short story writer but I don't like how short the stories have to be in cricket contests. See, when I was about a 7-y-o I wanted to enter a Spider story contest. I wrote a stupid story about trolls. But I had to cut it way down to like 150 words and when I read it through it through I decided it wasn't even good enough to submit. That's why I like the poetry ones better. Or maybe it's just because I won two of them.

why don't we just post our articles or whatever we wrote on here with our comments and then u can rate whose is best

also no hard feelings 4 ppl who dont win
