Ok, so heres
Ok, so heres my problem. I've been writing this story for a couple years now, it's very close to me. I came up with the idea of it when i was about 9 and i had a dream. The story took off from there. My problem is, is that i've got a bunch of great characters, i know the plot, but for some reason whenever i try to write some of it i draw a blank. Any tips?

wow. writer's block. well, that's a problem we all face every now and then, but what really surprises me is how you've stuck with it for so long. Don't you ever get new ideas that try and lure you away thenn blow up in your face?
anyway, try banging you're head against the wall a few times. Write notes of your plot, add stuff. go to a quiet place and just, unthink. It'll come to you in time. and don't be afraid of detail! sorry if I'm no help, but I'm currently stuck as well.

Banging one's head against the wall is a great (not to mention highly efficient) way to rid thyself of the dreaded writer's block. Not recommended early in the morning, though, as that can make one's day a tad bit miserable.
Desks work well too, I find.

My advice would be just to write about the story, doesn't necessarily have to be actually writing the story. What I've done when I got writers' block was write about the characters (backstory, personality, etc.), or do some worldbuilding (which maybe wouldn't even show up in the finished story, but helped me imagine things), make plot outlines, or just generally flesh out the story somewhere else.
This might not be all that helpful, because my problem was usually that I wasn't sure what I wanted to have happen next, and it sounds like you already know that. But it might be worth a shot anyway :)
