The Search for Cosmo Hazekeep: Solowrite
Cosmo Hazekeep.
 
At first, the name was in the back of your mind. Just a little phrase you associated with the young man who eats his lunch by the fountain and studies in the back of the library.
 
Cosmo Hazekeep.
 
There was nothing remarkable about him, so you never paid attention when he passed by. He was just an average college student like you, with a handful of friends who always dragged him out to parties.
 
Cosmo Hazekeep.
 
He seemed uncomfortable at the last party, standing in the corner and checking his watch anxiously. The party host mentioned this to one of his friends, who went over to check on him.
 
Cosmo Hazekeep.
 
He threw on his classic crooked smile and apologized for his attitude, joining the party for a couple more minutes before saying good night and going back to his dorm.

Cosmo Hazekeep.

Nobody saw him the next day. Or the next day. Or the next day.
 
His friends called and texted him to no avail. Luckily, one of them had a spare key to his room. You went with them and a couple others to check on him.
 
Cosmo Hazekeep.
 
His room was messy, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Except for the disheveled drawers. The broken window. The ripped up papers.

You read the Missing Person poster over and over again. It's been three weeks since his disappearance, and not a trace of him has been found. It’s like he vanished into thin air.

The situation seemed hopeless, until...

One of Cosmo’s friends burst into the room where you and a few others were asked to meet, gasping for air and holding up two objects. 

Cosmo’s backpack, and a VHS tape that had a name scribbled on it...

Name: Adam Whitlock 
Gender: male, he/him
Age (Keep in mind that your character’s in college): 20 (or 19 if that works better, whatever you like)
Voice: pretty deep and loud when talking, but lovely and high when singing as he is a tenor
Appearance: dark brown hair, green eyes, and a few freckles here and there. He is often wearing a letterman jacket.
Personality: Adam is loud and confident in a way that may make him see a little rude at times, but he is actually very friendly and tries to make sure to include everyone when he can. Also, despite being loud and talkative, Adam is great at keeping secrets, knowing when something really matters to someone, and respecting people he disagrees with.
Major: mathematics (his mother wanted him to do do this part)
Shipping (It may or may not happen, so don't get your hopes up): sure, whatever you think works is fine
Friend of Cosmo? If so, describe the friendship: no, but Adam has invited him to all his parties because he likes to be inclusive
Likes: theater, acting, singing, watching plays/musicals being in plays/musicals (he was in a few in middle and high school, his parents figured his theater-kid... ness was "just a phase"), listening to music from musicals, hanging out with his friends, throwing parties, reading, and trying to cook with his dorm mates, failing miserably, and ending up ordering takeout instead 
Dislikes: football, books with too far-fetched of a storyline, people who are rude to him simply because he disagrees with them, and people who go out of their way to bully others 
Other: He's great at football, but he secretly hates it. He only plays it because his dad wants him to. His true passion is theater and he dreams of being on Broadway someday. He has never shared this with anyone, even his closest friends, mostly because his closest friends are football players and he wouldn't want them to take it the wrong way. It's starting to seem like football's really what he's going to devote his life to... Which is slowly making him more and more miserable.
