Winged Cats RP
Winged Cats are sentient beings that live on another world. they are catlike in appearance, with long, scaly tails and wings. some have magic, but most just have stuff like breathing fire or flying silently. there are 10 kinds of Winged Cats, listed below:
Cosmic Winged Cats
Appearance: black/gray fur, dragonlike black/gray wings, gold tails and eyes, sometimes with sparkles or glossy patches, dominant males have gold manes
Powers: varies, usually things like mind-control or spying, but pretty much any mental power. strongest at night, and frequently OP
Fighting Power: 9/10
Prism Winged Cats
Appearance: white fur, pink wings/eyes/tail with blue spots on wings, small and light, feathery wings
Powers: can sense emotions in the form of colored auras when young, but can hear thoughts when older
Fighting Power: like a 4 or something? idk
Feral Winged Cats
Appearance: wings, fur, and tail in varying shades of brown, gray, dark red, and occasionaly green-gray, ragged-looking wings and ear tufts, scary claws
Powers: can fly silently like owls, see in the dark and hearing can reach 10 miles away, some can shift color to closer match the background or breathe fire
Fighting Power: if properly trained a constant 10
Mountain Winged Cats
Appearance: white, purple, blue, and gray, usually bright and icy-looking, thick layers of fur, feathery wings, long, straight claws, jet-black ear tufts
Powers: uhh can withstand a lot of cold? and paws are wide, to walk on snow
Fighting Power: 6ish
Ocean Winged Cats
Appearance: colors are always highly saturated when young, males are shades of blue, females are green/brown-green. wings like fins and lots of fins on tail/back, sometimes random fins in weird spots, green-gold eyes
Powers: can swim SUPER well
Fighting Power: meh 3
Forest Winged Cats
Appearance: gray/brown fur, green or brown wings like leafy branches, tails of the same color as wings, long claws and tails
Powers: can climb and fly exellently and are very agile
Fighting Power: 4
Fire Winged Cats
Appearance: red, orange, or blue fur, wings, and tail, wings can be pretty much any shape you want them to be, occasionaly with yellow or black mixed in as well, color-changing eyes based on mood
Powers: fire-related stuff, including lava drool
Fighting Power: 9
Lightning Winged Cats
Appearance: yellow, white, and light purple fur, tail, and wings, wings are shaped like a generic lightning bolt symbol, dark eyes
Powers: lightning/thunder magic, although it takes a physical toll
Fighting Power: 9/10
Desert Winged Cats
Appearance: gold fur with black spots, silvery blue/purple/green tails, brown falcon wings, thin and spindly, often called 'scrawny'
Powers: by far the fastest fliers/runners
Fighting Power: 8
and finally...
Magic Winged Cats
Appearance: beautiful silver fur/tail/wings, with streaks of one color, which signifies their power, wings shaped like crescent moons or bird wings
Powers: depends on what Cat, sometimes can control/summon specific elements, like fire, water, or plants, other Cats can do teleknesis (moving things with their mind,) or can vanish into shadows, almost always OP but most of them are cowards

Quirks: nervous-laughing a lot
Brains or Brawn?: brains mostly
Deepest Secret: is terrified of most new Cats she's meeting for the first time
you can have up to 4 characters, and you can base them off yourself, the RP will start on June 15, or when there are 7 characters, feel free to join after that!

~Nightingale~
Nightingale woke up. She was in the same cell, except when she looked to the right she saw a pair of glowing eyes. It was a green cat, but they looked like a cosmic cat. She sat as still as a statue and waited.
Then, after she couldn't bear it anymore, she did the worst thing possible. She did a thing only young kittens would do.
She snapped at the bars savagely, as if she was having a temper tantrum. No. She was older, and she had to get control of herself! The wind was toying with her, pushing her around, trying to swirl around her like a tornado. She lashed out, struggling to bite through the shadow magic, trying to free herself. The chains gripped at her legs, and it hurt. Please come soon, anyone. Please. She thought.
Then she curled into the shadows and wept.

"we need to go back and save her." I said.
"obviously. come on," Tinder replied.
we slunk through the long grass to the entrance of the cave, being careful to not make any noise. Tinder peeked around the corner, then turned back to me. "all clear," she whispered.
I nodded and followed her into the darkness.
~Ivy~
I curled my long tail around my paws, watching the evil Cosmic Cat. I was careful to manipulate the shadows, so that he could not sense me.
Equinox was his name. I smiled.
Equinox sat outside the gray Cat's cage... I still didn't know her name. she was growling softly, and occasionaly scratching at the bars.
as soon as Equinox goes away, I'll save the gray Cat. I thought.
*Equinox (third person)*
Equinox hissed angrily. "tell me where the Amulet of Fate is, or else." Equinox said.
"I-I don't know!" the gray Cat yelped.

Let me know if I'm posting too much! But anyway this thread did need some help, and so I decided to post yesterday.

~Nightingale~
"I-I don't know!" Nightingale said, in a timid, scared voice. She shrank against the cell of her cage, clawing at the bars, tired and weak.
The black cat snarled at her. "Of course you know! Stop lying and TELL ME."
She shivered. But the black cat reached out a sharp claw through the bars of her cage, reaching for her weak neck. A split-second before the black cat could twist it, she screamed.
"Someone, anyone, help me!"
She desperately cried out. But nothing was going to stop that horrible, shadowy claw reaching toward her. "T-Tinder? Arbor? Voltage?"
"No one will save you now." The black cat laughed as the shadowy claw set a cold chill to her senses.
And then she did the only thing possible she could do. She slumped against her cell.
And played dead.

I watched as the gray Cat slumped against the wall. I flinched, careful to not make any noise.
I angled my large ears toward the cage, listening. I heard the Cat breathing lightly, only pretending. I exhaled a silent sigh of relief. rescuing a Cat is a lot easier if the Cat in question is alive.
I blinked, shaking my head. focus. don't give in to the shadow.
Equinox growled, evidently knowing that the gray Cat was just pretending, too. he unlocked the cage, reaching in.
I cocked my head. his pure black, leathery bat wings would make a good target. wing injuries could hurt a lot.
what am I even thinking?? am I seriously considering attacking this terrifying Cat?
yes, I added.
I unsheathed my claws, gathering shadows in my paws. I crouched, fixing my eyes on Equinox's wings.
Equinox seemed to sense something out of the ordinary. his ears twitched, and his head slowly swiveled towards me.
I was already moving, leaping towards Equinox, like a lone wren diving down to peck at a fearsome hawk.
Equinox's evil amber eyes met mine, glowing with hatered. I roared, concentrating on the shadows. a fierce battle cry echoed through the room.

Nightingale tried to look dead, but Equinox wasn't fooled. He crept toward her, and she tried not to move. She tried to be petrified.
Out of the corner of her eye, she could see another black cat creeping towards her.
Please be creeping towards me to rescue me. She thought.
Then Equinox paused and swiveled his head around. The other cat roared, and Equinox was distracted! Nightingale took a quick turn to take a deep breath. Her claws dug deep into the pebbles, and she shrank against the wall, calling the wind. She bit her lip. There wasn't any Silverwater here. If she lost control, she'd lose the other cat.
At least she knew the other cat was definitely trying to rescue her. She took a deep breath and looked forward. Then she swirled the wind around Equinox. She had barely done anything, and Equinox wasn't even looking at her yet.
All of a sudden, a whirlwind hit Equinox. Was she losing control of herself? No. She'd seen it before. She was using her wind, but...
"LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!"
She gasped. "Fir?"
He sent a billowing snowstorm at Equinox, and his silky black fur was hidden for a moment, making him look like a white cat. She stifled a laugh.
The other black cat looked a little frightened now, of both Nightingale and Fir.
"Nightingale. I knew you wouldn't forget me."
She answered with tears in her eyes, sendng her wind at Equinox, who was most likely frozen by now. "Fir, don't hurt the other cat. They're trying to save me. Please. I already saw them attack Equinox."
Then she smiled. Equinox was a frozen white blob in the snow. "Please," she begged the cat on the other side. "We're not going to hurt you. We hate Equinox."
Then she asked for the cat's name. "I'm Nightingale, and this is Fir."

I am not the host of the Winged Cats RP, but I just wanted to say hi! I don't believe we've ever met before, my name is Nut Le Squirrel. You can call me Rora for short, though.
My character is also a little ocean-winged cat! She is magic-winged cat, too. You can read through the story to help to see what's going on! :)

Ayles flew through the air. "I love it up here! No minds I could read, no people I can bump into, and most of all, no magic." Magic had killed her parents, and Ayles avoided magic as much as possible. Suddenly, something hit her wing, making her spin out of control! "Heeeelp!" She screamed. She then, crashed into the trees. "Ow my head...." Ayles moaned. Above her, she saw a Forest cat, looking at her. "Are you ok?" She asked. "Odd looking Magic Cat. The hot pink on her wings is diffrent than most." The Forest cat thought. "Are you just going to stare at me weird? Is that why you bumped me into this tree?" Ayles hissed. The forest cat jumped, "Oh! Sorry! I am Ivy." She said startled. "What, did you think I couldn't talk?" "No. It is just weird seeing a Magic cat out here." Ayles didn't expect that. "Don't you see alot of Magic cats around here? You know, with the trading routes?" Ayles asked. Ivy shook her head, "No, the trading routes were sabotaged by an evil cat. What did you say your name was?" Ayles tried to think of something to tell Ivy, "I-I am Ayles. My parents were killed by magic when I was really little, so I don't remember it." Ivy gave Ayles a worried look, "Are you sure you are ok? You bumped your head pretty hard." She reached towards Ayles' pendant. "GET AWAY FROM THAT!" Ayles hissed. Ivy slumped, "Oh, sorry." Then Ivy flew off. "Ivy should watch where she is going, or someday she will run into someone, she wouldn't want to meet." Then, Ayles jumped off the branch.

Twilight had a feeling that her new boss was not telling her everything.for one, the strange winged cat only talked to her in her head.second thing,she could not hear the cats thoughts.she brushed the thoughts away like the dead leaves on her fur as she walked to the prism palace.never mind,she had orders now.
