Character Swap Roleplay (Writing Excercise)   

For practicing writing characters!

Okay basically, so there are no boundaries in creating your character, the role play takes place in a magical realm with lots of different cities and regions and stuff.  You create a character by filling out a out a character form (putting lots of detail and emphasis on personality and backstory.).  once enough people have joined you select someone else's character, who you role play as.  Choose the amount of characters you roleplay as that you created.  For example, if you create 2 characters, choose a different 2 to roleplay as.

I didn't go into any detail with the world or plot because I wanted this to be a sort of thing where we practice writing certain personalities  rather than writing plots.  I usually just go and create a character version of myself, not think about the personality or end up writing the character as if they were me regardless of what personality I planned to give it. 

Anyway.  Character sheet!  Absolutely anything goes!

name: Anhinga

age: 19

pronouns: they/them

personality (DETAILED!) buisnesslike and strict with no sense of humor on the outside, but feels wild and hates rules on the inside, the outside thing is a curse. the only thing Anhinga wants is to be free of the curse.

appearance: originally dark skin and black hair with gold-white streaks and jade eyes, but now walks and talks like a human but covered in black feathers with white-gold streaks on the wings, bird claws for feet/hands and dark red eyes.

family: used to be royalty but kicked out when cursed

region where they live (describe climate, buildings, government) used to live in the Kingdom of the Past, but fled to the Destiny Forest, home to hundreds of cursed humans/animals/objects. the climate is exactly the opposite of what you want it to be, and the forest is... untamed.

skills/abilities: none, except if you count the advantages of being a human-shaped bird. 

species/racial origin: cursed human

backstory (DETAILED): used to live in the Kingdom mentioned earlier, but was cursed after offending a magician by accident. the curse turned them into a human-bird with no true personality and a heart of ice, but the curse did not effect inner feelings.

other: if there needs to be more backstory or personality i can post more.
