Tag Game!
Has anyone heard of a tag game? It's when someone starts a story and then tags someone else to continue the story. It's really fun! Also, please note that we don't start a new story every time a person gets tagged.
Can you please sign up, too? It will help so we can get people in the tag game. I'll write everyone down in the order they sign up in. No personal information is required except your name on Chatterbox.
Here are the rules:
#1. If you go by two or more names on Chatterbox, please pick one so that we don't have one person having double turns or more.
#2. If you sign up, please make sure that you participate.
#3. No negative comments are allowed, but I'm pretty sure the admins will take care of that. :)
#4. When you tag someone, make sure that you are not tagging the same person over and over unfairly.
Feel free to comment on people's work, and you can join whenever you want! :)

Yay! I get to tag someone after this! :D Psst, I couldn't think of another name for Gruff, so we're just going with it. (Hopefully this doesn't sound silly, it may not be what you want, Tsuki)

Gruff, the older man, pushed through the hedge. They both gasped.
Crieff stared in awe at a stone castle, but Gruff pulled him away before he could memorize the picture of it in his mind.
"We're here to capture the Queen, not stare lollygagging at the palace. Come on!" Gruff said.
So Crieff tagged along for a while until they reached a giant wooden door. A deep mote ran in between the door and the land around the castle. Without waiting, Gruff jumped in.
"I heard there's an opening somewhere underneath in the water." he said.
Crieff jumped after him, though, and soon got a cold chill done his spine. The water was shockingly cold. Sure enough, there was a bolder, almost like a round tomb stone. Gruff started to budge it, and motioned for help. Together, they pushed the large stone out of the way, and a large tunnel appeared.
Then they gasped.

A white unicorn came charging through the tunnel, its horn a glassy spiral. It must have been posted as a guard by the Queen. Crieff stared for a moment, entranced by its beauty, then a sharp tug from Gruff yanked him away.
As the older man drew his sword to fight off the unicorn guard, Crieff put his hand in his pocket, feeling for the jewel inside. The jewel that would make them the richest men on earth…or the most miserable. It was gone.
“Sir?” he called over the sound of the wind. “The Circlet of Diamonds…I think it fell in the water.”
He whirled around, his clothes dripping with rain. Or was it sweat and blood? Crieff couldn’t tell. “Or it fell into someone else’s hands. Wasn’t Elise saying that we shouldn’t steal the circlet from the Forest Witch? That the witch would send a hurricane?”
“I–”
His voice broke as the other man, who had been a skilled swordsman for years, sent a crushing blow to the unicorn. It neighed and suddenly plunged into the water, drowning instantly.
Perhaps there’s a better way, Crieff thought. But we can’t go on like this. The Circlet of Diamonds may give us enough power to conquer the queen, but how can we abide hurting her unicorns? I certainly can’t.

I was able to change the title of the thread, but the whole list of names only appears in black for me. Maybe you can differentiate the names with asterisks,* or ** or ?

Thank you, Admin! Now on Inkwell the thread will appear as "Tag Game!" Thanks for letting me know about the list of names, there is the same problem for me, too.

Here it is, finally! I'm so sorry I took so long! I hope this isn't too short.
Gruff turned and started walking through the tunnel. When he saw that Crieff hadn’t move, he turned impatiently and grunted, “Coming?”
“B-but sir, what about the Circlet? It’s gone.”
Gruff sighed. “We’ll have to find another way.” He turned to the unicorn’s lifeless body and pulled a hair from its mane. Unicorn hair was not as powerful as the Circlet of Diamonds, but it was still heavily infused with magic. Crieff hoped it would be enough to complete their mission.
The two started down the tunnel. It was dark and cold, with only a few dim lanterns to light the way. They were about halfway through the tunnel when Crieff felt a gloved hand cover his mouth, and another pull him backwards.
“Gah!”
Crieff did not see what happened next. Everything just went dark.

It stayed dark for some time, the darkness filled with quiet thunks, the rasp of metal on stone, and rough rope chafing against his wrists. Crieff was moving, being dragged along by... someone.
Had he been caught by the Queen's guards? No, they would have accosted him directly, not bothering with these cloak-and-dagger methods. They would've taken Gruff, too, and they hadn't. Speaking of Gruff, how long would it take him to notice? Would he come back for Crieff, or abandon him to his fate?
The bag over his head came off with a whoosh, and Crieff gasped, blinking fiercely.
He was on the floor of a small, dim room, lit only by candles. Glancing over himself, Crieff noted that he wasn't tied to anything, but his hands were still bound behind him. He could probably wiggle out of the ropes, given enough time.
"Are you an idiot?" a voice demanded out of the darkness.
Crieff whirled. He hadn't noticed before, but in one of the room's deep shadows there was a figure, wearing all black, back to him and eyes pressed to a crack in the wall.
"I-- I don't think so." He stuttered.
The figure snorted. "Well, you must be, because only an idiot would take the water entrance. Hardly even qualifies as a back door, given how many guards there are." They turned to him, and Crieff could see that it was a human around his age, with feminine features and hair cropped short. Their eyes roved over him before they turned back to the wall. "You could've set off any number of alarms and derailed everything."
"Uh, sorry." Crieff mentally cursed himself. Why was he apologizing? "What-- What's happening?"
They turned back to him, eyes glowing and flinty in the candlelight. "What's happening is that I'm trying to steal the Queen's crown. And you're in the way."
Whew, that was fun! @Hex, you're up!
Also, quick question, what are we going to do when the list of people runs out? Are we going to go in the same order, or keep randomly tagging?
