Hello, so I am not really sure if any of yall remember me. Even if you do, I have changed a lot since I was on here/NaNo last. I joined last summer and then got busy and slowly drifted off but not before I joined NaNo. I was on there for a while but then I got too busy and left. Oh my goodness, does anyone remember the kneecap war? Sorry, just had to put that in. XD I probably would have come back but the classroom was shut down. IDK why I didn't just come back here. Anyways I came on here today because I am doing NaNo and I can't for the life of me think of a title and you lizards (do you still say that) are the only ones I could think to ask. I have been brainstorming for weeks and writing for a while to but I just can't think of anything. So I would say it is going pretty well except for that. My wcg is 7,501. Now you may be wondering why It is 7,501 rather than just a simpler 7,500. The reason why is because I want to be able to call it a novelette bc that sounds cooler than a short story. Wikipedia is confusing so I wanted to be on the safe side and have my word goal be just an extra word more. My story is a multi-generational story about some people who escaped the Greek Genocide in Turkey and are making their life in the US.
Would anyone like to do a word sprint with me and whoever else might want to? Just like a five minute one and then just post the number of words that you got on this thread.
I will be back on Saturday. I missed y'all.

I am doing NaNo!
I stupidly set my word count for 1000 words, which I did in two hours. I should have made it 70,000 which is supposedly the length of a novel. Oops! Now I can't figure out how to change my settings for higher...is there even a way?
My CAPTCHA says ixrad. I x radical. I've decided to call the CAPTCHA Sunny.

If you're doing it on the ywp site, yes there is a way to fix it! go to your writing area and in the place where it has all your statistics there should be a little wrench icon. if you click on that it will take you to the challenge settings and you can change your wcg. I hope this helps!!
