Do you enjoy writing letters? Do you enjoy RPing? If you answered yes to one or both of those questions, you might enjoy this new RP thread, created through snippets of individual perspectives, written documents, and letters!
Set in a fantasy world where, every year, a new group of chosen teenagers from one town are locked in individual towers, and have to rely on their wits to escape. This year, you are one of the chosen few, and have until the winter solstice to get out. The only communication you are permitted is letters exchanged with the other chosen ones.

Here's my character!
Name: Ryn Black
Age: 16
Pronouns: He/they
Appearance: Tall and lanky, with greyish eyes, tanned skin, black hair, and freckles over their nose.
Personality: Ryn is sarcastic and can be blunt at times, but cares deeply about his friends and chosen family, and will do anything for them.
Likes and Dislikes: Likes painting, poppies, bread, and crystals. Dislikes caterpillars and pushovers.
Other: Ryn's good at finding constellations, and is open to shipping with anyone.

Also, just something I forgot to mention--this RP is supposed to take place around the 14-15th centuries. You don't need to change the way you talk or anything, but just know that in terms of setting and typical life for your characters.

Appearance: Dark brown hair, green eyes, freckles, pimples,
Personality: Super duper shy, but once you get her talking she'll never stop. Enjoys languages, writing, learning (on her own terms). Is a very happy person, but has anxiety. Extremely empathetic- chances are, if you're feeling something, she'll feel it too. Extremely clumsy and forgetful. Her Sun and Rising signs are Sagittarius and she thinks her moon is Pisces. Her go-getter, adventurous sides are very dormant right now, and she wishes they'd come back.
Likes and Dislikes: Likes: languages, old music, writing, learning, animals, fluffy stuff (rugs, puppies), people, socializing, drawing, Japan, nature, the color green, swimming, sugar. Dislikes: Mistreatment of anything or anyone. Her science teacher, people who don't care about the environment, animals or other beings, global warming, BANANAS, when people pretend to be "cool." (Though she dislikes many qualities of people, she believes almost everyone is a good person and will try to figure out their story.)

Aw, thank you so much! We'd love to have you join us, but whatever works for you! There's also the option of joining the RP later as a townsperson or something of that nature, or you can reserve a spot if that works better for you!

Appearance: Strawberry blonde hair cut just above their chin, honey brown eyes, button nose. She’s short, with fair skin that’s usually a little sunburnt.
Personality: Clever and quick-witted, likes to have fun but can take things seriously when need be. They tend to think things through completely before acting, and she’ll get annoyed if you interrupt her thought process. They can sometimes be a little petty, and will hold a grudge.
Likes and Dislikes: Likes the outdoors, sunshine, sweets, and planning. Dislikes impulsivity, rain, and being cold.
Other: Open to shipping with anyone.
