Hi y'all, Empress Lumia back here at it again. My original post got taken down because of codes, but this time I am determined to make it work.
So, we'll start with the basics. Unfortunately, no code :[.
Avis West. The famous archaeologist. The one, who, along with her sister Caitlyn West, discovered the legendary Mitsurin City.
She's taking 25 of her students on a trip there. It's not normally open to the public- that's why Avis has decided to take along Sadie and Serenity Scott, two YouTubers who do historical videos. Ruby Luz and Calliope Adair, two of Sadie and Serenity's friends, are coming along to help with all the camera management.
Mitsurin City is a place of mystery. There are strange carved messages everywhere- in a language nobody knows. (Note~ These codes will not be posted. All will be revealed at the end.) This is what Avis, Caitlyn, Sadie, Serenity, Ruby, Calliope, and their team are here for.
To discover the secrets of Mitsurin City.

Okay. There are exactly 20 student spots and 6 Mitsurin City spots. This is because most of the species in Mitsurin City have died out (currently I've made 4 Mitsurin City OCs]. 5 of the students have been made by me, you'll see who they are later.

Alison Kordon had signed up for the Mitsurin City trip- she was slightly bored with the curriculum, and she thought it might be fun. Because, I mean, lost cities? Awesome.
The only person she knew that was going was Red Starlight, otherwise known as Star. She was Ali’s best friend- however, she and Star were kind of opposites. Star was shy, Alison was rather bubbly and exciting. Not loud, just more of an extrovert.
Emekittycon Kitten, or Em, had signed up for the Mitsurin City trip. I mean, a once-in-a-lifetime chance? She was taking that. Besides, she was going with many different adults and experts- so, perfectly safe.
Arden Perry was most definitely signing up for this Mitsurin City trip. He thought it would be fun- I mean, a whole schoolyear with nothing but exploring? Oh, they were taking that.
Ives Aingeal Dìon decided to sign up for the Mitsurin City trip. Certainly it would be an interesting experience- and he would really like to see interesting history things in real life as one of the first people to see it.
Saltwater didn’t like people, and she decided that this chance to escape reality— sort of— would be perfect.
Currently, Professor Avis West, or Avi, was double-checking everything. She had all the flight tickets, all the things they needed.
All she needed to do was a week of lectures. The other students had the first week off- but only the Film, Speech&Debate, Theater, Archaelogy, Anthropology, and History students.
Avis sighed, and picked up her phone, sending a message in the mitsurin city trip chat- all the people going to the trip were there.
hey, sade, serena, caitlyn, bri, brian, cal, josh, ruby, callie- please meet me at the teachers lounge, we have a ton of lectures to go over.
She closed her phone, which had a pure white phone case, a lock screen of the Mitsurin City message, and a home screen of an old Mitsurin City vase with more weird symbols inscribed on it.
Soon, her phone pinged. And pinged some more. And more. And more.
hi avi! yeah ill be there in a few. -sade
eyyy av! give me a bit lol ill be there soon -serenity
hey av! im literally in the room right next to the teachers lounge- -cait
we’ll be there in a second :] - bri & brian
we are heading there rn. - callan & josh
we’ll be there w/ sade and serenity - ruby & callie
Avis looked through the messages and smiled, before picking up her cloth tote bag, filled with binders and pens and notes, headed towards the Teacher’s Lounge.
Soon enough, she had arrived. Caitlyn was in the lounge, spinning around in the black chair. Avis took a seat on the red leather couch, setting her bag beside her.
Sade and Serenity, along with Ruby and Callie, walked in soon after. They took a seat on an olive green couch- one that was rather large. Sade was sipping a mocha coffee, and Serenity and the others were talking.
The door swung open again, as Callan, Josh, Brianna, and Brian walked in. They took a seat on the sunny yellow couch- again, rather large. Brianna had a stack of notes with her, and Joshua had a coffee with him.
“Well then. You already know who you’re taking on- Callan, Joshua, Brianna, Brian, you’re taking on general introductions, which are later in the afternoon, Sade, Serenity, Ruby, Callie, y’all are taking on Film and Theatre students, and me and Caitlyn will take on History students.”
“Yeah!”
“Sure thing!”
“Yes ma’am!”
The group split off into three chunks. Let’s follow Sade, Serenity, Ruby, and Callie first.
The quartet leave the lounge and turn down several corners. The flyers have been taken down- all that remains on the bulletin boards are welcome signs, holes where the thumbtacks went, and a list of everyone going to the trip.
They turned another hallway, and entered a white-walled classroom with a shiny new whiteboard near the front of the classroom.
Sade put down a bag, and Serenity put down a plethora of different cases- mostly black with the words “sadendipity” printed on it in neat cursive.
Ruby opened Sade’s bag, and took out a black whiteboard marker, writing the words, “MITSURIN CITY TRIP: FILM AND THEATRE STUDENTS” and beneath that, “TAUGHT BY SADIE, SERENITY, RUBY, AND CALLIOPE”.
A couple minutes later, two very fancy cameras were set up, along with a PC in the back, and by a PC I mean an entire setup, with LED lights, a galaxy projector, everything.
Then the students started filing in.
They sat down- there weren’t exactly many students, seeing it was only selective people from Film and Theatre.
Some of them outright fainted. I mean, who wouldn’t, they’re literally meeting people with over 10 million subscribers. (Sadeli had 30M, and Serenity had 29.5M. Their channel Sadendipity had 45M.)
Sadie rapped her knuckles sharply on the table. “Heads up, all of you!”
Once they had all recovered, Ruby waved. “Hello, students! My name is Ruby Luz, I’m a close friend of Sade. So, Sade, or as you all may know her, sadeli, will be covering Film! She’s more of the filming type, and knows an extensively large amount of film information, and owns several types of expensive cameras that you may have the chance to use. Serenity, or Serendipity, will be covering Theatre, Ren is quite good at acting, seeing that she participates a lot in the lore of her SMP, the Regime SMP.”
“Right now the Regime SMP is on Episode 6, the Reign of the Renegades, otherwise known as the War of the Rogues. Anyways, hello! I am Calliope Adair, a friend of Serenity. I will be assisting Theatre students, as I’ve been on the Regime SMP’s lore multiple times, mostly in Episode 3, or the Reign of Mountania, also known as the War of the Mountain-Dwellers. Ruby will be assisting Sadie in Filming; she’s filmed some of Sade’s vlog before.”
Currently, Sadie was fiddling with several knobs, trying to convince the second of the expensive cameras to work whilst Serenity gave a short speech about what they were doing this week and expectations of the trip.
Serenity’s speech was interrupted by a cry of joy.
“Got the malfunctioning camera to finally work! We really need to replace that one. Oh, and tomorrow we should probably get the drone; right now it’s at our regular setup I think. Uhh, we should probably also get those stick cameras. Well, we can figure it out tomorrow.”
“You’re probably right, Sade. We should definitely bring the other equipment tomorrow.”
“We should also start actually teaching.”
“Ah- you’re right. Okay, hi children! That sounds weird, oh well, hi students! Anyways, I’m Sadie, or Sade, or sadeli, if you don’t know me. Today we’re going to go over basic equipment and needs- including what you need to pack, what to expect, etcetera etcetera etcetera. Any questions?”
“Well, half of class has already passed, so let’s get on to the actual stuff! Film lectures shall start!”
Calliope walked up to the stand, taking the microphone and tapping it. There was a loud blaring noise- all the students winced, and Sadie sighed, walking up to the stand and taking the microphone, before connecting several wires to it. She tapped it- just a loud tap was heard.
“Oh, thank you, Sade.”
“Welcome.”
Calliope spoke into the microphone. “Hello once again, students! Let the lecture begin.”
Serendipity took the students to another room towards the back of the room. When everyone was seated, Serendipity began the lecture.
She connected a laptop to the projector before the screen flickered blue, and the slides turned on.
“Welcome to the Mitsurin City Trip! If you aren’t in the group chat, please tell me after class your number and I’ll add you there. Anyways, let’s begin!”
The slide changed- now, it said “REQUIREMENTS.”
“Alright, you saw the slide. Requirements! Numero Uno! You do need to have your Student ID with you. No ID, no entry. That’s the rule and we’re not breaking it. Now for number two, please do keep in mind that this is a trip to Antarctica. Please pack warm- I really do not want anyone to die of hypothermia. Number three! Mosquito Repellent- really, Insect Repellent of any kind- and sunscreen are strictly not allowed. Number four- all things given to you must be returned at the end of the trip. This is the most important rule- we do have several rather expensive things. Alrighty, that’s done, any questions?”
Serenity cleared her throat, clicking to the next slide, which read, “What To Pack”.
pens
“So, what to pack. I’d say, warm clothes, notebooks, and your notes from last year are quite useful. If you do have your own ski-slash-snowboarding goggles, please do wear those. Hmm, pack extra changes of clothes, hygienic things, etcetera etcetera etcetera. And do keep in mind, you’ll be spending this time in Antarctica. Oh my renegades I almost forgot- pack a reusable water bottle. Plastic, metal, doesn’t matter. Pack self-defence things, such as pocket knives or slingshots, ooh or those little metal catapults, please do not pack high end explosives I really do not want any very dangerous explosives going off in Antarctica, small ones like flashbangs or ones that won't do much damage will be fine. I don’t think Avi or Kate would be very pleased either if a landmine was set off on a school trip. Other than that, bring whatever you want! As long as it doesn’t endanger the lives of others, go wild! Questions?”
Serenity clicked the next slide button again- this time, it read, DETAILS
“I believe you all already know about Mitsurin City; if you don’t; go to the Wikipedia Page or find Professor West. Both of them- gah, does Kate even have a professor’s degree? Oh well, details. So, we’ll be doing exploring and deciphering, maybe even some other things that Professor West has planned. We’ll be traveling in an airplane for about 2 days before arriving at Antarctica. Then, we’ll be staying in a village of log cabins, we will have one cabin to four people, with me, Sade, Ruby, and Calliope having a room, Brian, Joshua, and Callan having a room, and finally, the two Professor Wests having a room. We’ll take one day to settle in, a week for more explanations, and then we begin exploring. Schedules will come out in that week for more explanations. Questions?”
A girl with black hair and purple streaks raised her hand.
“Yes? Please also state your name.”
“Hi, I’m Emekittycon Kitten, but I prefer Em; my question is, what airline are we traveling on?”
“Hello Em; We’ll be traveling on the IA Arline airlines, first class.”
No more questions proceeded, and Serenity continued. “Without further ado- oh my GOSH of course my poor dear brain and jet lag do not go well together, anyways it is indeed break! I need coffee--”
Sadie stuck her head in. “AND I NEED MY DAILY INTAKE OF PEACH TEA, WHERE DID YOU PUT THE CANS?”
“Sade, they’re in the cooler. As per usual.”
“Oh okay.”
Serenity sighed and shut down her computer, walking out the door. “Y’all, I told you, it’s break.”
