"OW!!!!" Mike said, as he was thrown out of the shop.
"AND STAY OUT, FREAK!!!!!" The shop owner said, as he slammed the door behind him.
"Fine. It's not like I needed a job anyway. Oh, yeah, we have PLENTY of food, considerin' that our pantry is totaly EMPTY!!" Mike exclaimed, as someone loomed over him.
"Forget it. He's not a nice guy anyway." Davy said, as he lent a hand out to Mike.
Mike took it, and Davy helped him up. He brushed himself off, lookin' at his mud-stained outfit: An orange button-up long-sleeved shirt, blue denim jeans, brown cowboy boots, and his green wool hat.
"This was the ONLY thing I had that wasn't stained!!" Mike said, as anger boiled up inside him.
"Mike, control yourself. You don't wanna do the same thing that happened last time." Micky said.
Mike couldn't hear him. His head hurt, and he couldn't hold it in anymore. He yelled, and send a blast of ice from his fingertips towards the shop door, freezin' it, then punched the door, shatterin' it.
"Oh, great, he's doin' it again. And... OH GREAT THE POLICE ARE HERE!!!!!! RUN, FELLAS!!!!" Peter said, as the four of 'em heard sirens.
They ran to the usual alley-way that they had, just in case. As they ran towards it, they saw other people, runin' towards the same alley-way.

Consider me intrigued. I just kind of was wondering what the era was and maybe location? Also what powers are considered too over powered? And is this a fantasy world? And what exactly is going on? I'm assuming that the people who have powers are being suppressed but why?

The era is in 1966, powers that are OP are, like, bein' able to have more than 2 powers at once, but if they have one power, as long as it's not, like, able to destroy buildin's, that's cool.
It's kinda like Frozen, except, like I said, in 1966, and the people with powers are bein' suppressed 'cause, like in Frozen, the government thinks that they're gonna hurt people.
This takes place in the real world, and the location is California, where the series of The Monkees takes place.

Powers: I'm not sure what's too powerful, but she can control wind if that's ok
Appearance: light brown shoulder length straight hair, emerald green eyes, freckles on nose, she wears casual clothes like jeans/jean shorts and t shirts. She usually wears black sneakers.
Personality: funny, witty, can be negative but tries to remain neutral, makes friends easy, but doesn't have very many, she can be very girly.
