Appearance: Long black hair with turqiouse streaks usually worn in a ponytail, dark brown eyes, tall, tanned skin.  Usually wears elegant formal clothes but will wear something more simple and practical for the Games.

Personality: Clever, arrogant, determined, often thinks of himself as better than others, but beneath that exterior he struggles with anxiety and a want for friendship and social acceptance.

Backstory****:  Tam grew up in a very rich family and his parents work closely with the Capitol, he was raised to almost worship the Capitol and to believe that the other districts were below him.  His parents had no place for weakness and made Tam begin training for the Games before he was even chosen, which only made his anxiety worse.  He was terrified when his name was drawn but pretended like he was anything but, not wanting to seem weak or worthless.

Skills (please, no magic): Very intuitive to his surroundings and to people's emotions, prefers steath and hiding in the shadows (which he's quite good at) to direct confrontation and combat, skilled at archery.

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: Initially pro-Capitol because of his upbringing, but can definitly be convinced to change.

Name: Sage Alcove

District: 12

Age (between 12 and 18): 17

Gender/Pronouns: Female; she/her

Appearance: Short, brown hair (she cut it into a pixie once on the train with a shard of glass. no use having long hair in the arena), sage green eyes, pale, thin and muscular, agile, small

Personality: Quick-witted, sly, intelligent, not afraid to hold her ground, but knows how to keep her head down in certain situations, bold, a fighter, strong-willed

Backstory: Sage grew up in no home, rather a shack near the border of District 12. Her dad was killed by the Capitol when she was only 12, and her mother died three years later, from an unknown disease. She cared for her younger brother, as he was the only thing she had left. Luckily, she had bypassed the reaping for so long, for four years. This year, however, was different. Sage's name was drawn and she was chosen for the reaping. She tried to run, but Peacekeepers caught her and dragged her onto the stage. Her brother was also chosen in the reaping (he's up next), so she had no one to say goodbye to, but weeped, knowing that even if she made out alive, her brother would be dead.

Skills (please, no magic): She's quite good with throwing knives and a bow and arrow. She's also very small and agile, so she can hide in small spaces and get up a tree quite easily.

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: Against. They murdered her dad.

Name: Ronan Alcove

District: 12

Age (between 12 and 18): 16

Gender/Pronouns: Male; he/him

Appearance: wild black hair, cold grey eyes, tanned skin tinted with a bit of coal dust, muscular and tall, lanky and unsure of his own body

Personality: shy, but thoughtful, also quick-witted, very intelligent, reserved, artistic, caring, loving, attached to his sister, and wise beyond his years

Backstory: Ronan was ten when his dad disappeared (later murdered, but he doesn't know that) and only thirteen when his mom died. He's been under the care of his sister for three years, but he really knows nothing other than that. It's always been Ronan and Sage, Sage and Ronan. When the Peacekeepers evicted them from their house, he took on shifts in the coal mines, though underage to work, but did it anyways, so Sage could buy supplies. When the reaping came closer, he entered his name fifty-five times for food. He saw his sister get chosen, and couldn't bear to leave her, so he volenteered for the chosen tribute, joining his sister in the death games. As they left, the only thought on his mind was how he was going to train, harder than he ever had before, and make sure his sister won the games.

Skills (please, no magic): a very quick learner. skilled with retaining information and not forgetting it. he can identify plants that can be used for medicine or be eaten as food. he also knows how to start a fire easily and purify water so you can drink it.

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: Against.

Other: Sage and Ronan would be allies, no doubt, but they'd be hesitant to let anyone else in.

Name: Wisteria "Wisty" Greene

District: 7

Age (between 12 and 18): 14

Gender/Pronouns: Nonbinary; they/them; but they were born female

Appearance: Long, soft brown hair, piercing blue eyes, tanned skin from working in the sun all day, tall and thin, with a lack of useful muscles, but agile and quick.

Personality: soft-spoken, quiet and reserved, caring and committed, takes action when needed, not very smart, but can retain things they've learned, coy.

Backstory: Wisty grew up in an average household, never having to really worry about where their next meal was coming from, but did not have a giant cushion of money lying under their bed. They had two moms and a sister. Since they loved nature and trees so much, but loved the smell of freshly chopped trees more, Wisteria decided to take up a job in the lumber mill. When the reaping came 'round, they were chosen, and, since they were not well established with anyone, remained as District Seven's female tribute, since they were assigned female at birth, but didn't like labels all that much. Their mothers and sister could not stand to see their baby go, and tried to protest, but instead were shot and killed by Peacekeepers. Wisty vowed they would avenge their family in the arena, but will most likely die because they aren't as skilled as the others will probably be.

Skills (please, no magic): can take in information easily, and can wield small weapons like a dagger, but nothing more.

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: Against. The Peacekeepers, who work for the Capitol killed their family. Of course they're against the Capitol

Other: Probably would prefer to be alone, but if someone rallied a good case to be allies, they might consider

Name: Lennox "Lex" Nelson

District: 3

Age (between 12 and 18): 18

Gender/Pronouns: Male; he/him

Appearance: dark brown skin, inky black hair that curls near the tips, blackish brown eyes, wiry black metal glasses, thin, but very tall, fragile look to his frame, but he's actually rather fit.

Personality: closed off and mysterious, genius, intelligent, doesn't talk to people much but isn't afraid to give the occasional quip or sneer, meek when talking to those of a higher district, but patronistic when talking to those below.

Backstory: Lex began learning about his district's main skill, technological things, at a very young age, and he eventually became quite a great coder, and developed quite a few advancements for the Capitol and his own district, all by the age of fourteen. Last year, his brother, Forrest, was chosen as a tribute, and somehow was able to come out of the games victorious. At the reaping, Lex, who wanted to follow in his brother's footsteps, as it was the last games he was eligible for, volenteered for the chosen tribute, a weak boy who wouldn't make it past a day. Now, Lennox is going into the games full of pride, but there is a small voice inside his head telling him to say goodbye.

Skills (please, no magic): Technological genius, and very intelligent.

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: He likes the Capitol, since he was praised for his inventions, and his brother won the games, which showered them with riches, but he's a bit skeptical about the ways they do things, and would definitely join a pushback against the games if one was started.

Other: I saw on one of the forms that someone's tribute was angry at the district 3 winner last year, and I thought it would be cool for a tribute this year to be related, because that's always fun. Please let me know if this is okay!

Name: Sheath Winters

District: 2

Age (between 12 and 18): 15

Gender/Pronouns: Male; he/him

Appearance: perfectly trimmed golden-brown hair, crystal blue eyes, though he sometimes wears red colored contacts because he can, pale white skin, very muscular and stocky frame

Personality: rude and haughty, fierce and tough, thinks he's better than everyone else, patronistic, not very smart, not afriad to do whatever it takes, even if it means sabotaging his own team, but he's secretly really nervous underneath the tough exterior

Backstory: Sheath has been training for the games ever since he turned ten. His parents have very high connections in the Capitol, and Sheath has always had a silver spoon in his mouth. He's always exelled in training, being one of top scoring students. Last year, his sister, the mere age of twelve, was chosen as the female tribute for two, and died in the bloodbath, and Sheath vowed to avenge her. At the reaping, he was ready to volenteer for anyone who would be chosen, but he did end up being picked anyways.

Skills (please, no magic): Very, very, very skilled with weapons, and knows how to be a leader

Pro-Capitol, or Against?: Pro-Capitol, and is willing to defend his beliefs

Other: He would probably ally with anyone from District 1 and the Female tribute for 2, but since his sister was killed by the district 3 male from last year (Lennox's brother, see above) he probably wouldn't be very willing to ally with them [district 3].

Name: Rayne (pronounced like Rain) Cascade

District: 4

Age: 15

Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her

Appearance: Small and slender build, tanned skin & freckles, auburn hair usually worn in a bun, blue-green eyes.

Personality: Determined, focused, impartial, hates conflict 

Backstory: Rayne's parents were killed by the Capitol when she was very young, and she was left in the care of her aunt and uncle. Rayne grew up hating the Capitol. A 12-year-old from her district was picked as the female tribute, and Rayne knew that she wouldn't make it past the bloodbath, and vollunteered in her place. 

Skills: Good at fishing and swimming (as most District 4 people are), also very quiet, and since she's small she can hide in places.

Age: 15

Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him

Appearance: Average height, dirty blonde hair, tanned skin, sapphire blue-green eyes. 

Personality: Strong-minded, protective, rarely gets angry, but when he does get angry, he gets very very angry, relaxed most of the time, but for the games he'll be on his feet. 

Backstory: He's lived a pretty normal life. He has a crush on Rayne, and when she vollenteered, he vollenteered for the male tribute to try and protect her. 

Skills: He's strong, good at swimming and fishing, athletic, and a fast runner.

Pro-Capitol or Against: He hates them for making him do the games, so against. 

Other: Will at least try to ally with Rayne.

Name: Cypress "Cy" Hickory

District: 9

Age: 17

Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him

Appearance: Almond skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes, muscular

Personality: Attention-seeking, determined, not easily swayed, tough, hardly ever shows his feelings, though he's sensitive on the inside. 

Backstory: His sister was chosen for the Games last year, and since he was a boy he couldn't go in her place. She survived the bloodbath but was killed a few days in by a District 5 tribute. He volenteered this year and is determined to avenge her death by winning and killing the District 5 tributes. 

Skills: Good with weapons and pretty strong.

Appearance: Large, really tall, muscular.

Personality: Headstrong, hates being told what to do, absolutley committed to winning to the point where he makes rash decisions.

Backstory****: He grew up in a poor family with no siblings, simply surviving until he was reaped by chance.

Skills (please, no magic): He's strong, big, and not afraid to kill.
