Chatterbox: Inkwell

Hello, I am facing a dilema about an idea forming in my head. It is an adapption of sleeping beauty, but pretty lightly based. I know that in the begining, I want her to have to sneak away sometimes and be freeer like let her hair down and stuff, so that would mean her family is pretty strict about that kind of stuff. But, I also want them to have raised her and her brothers pretty much the same way, like no difference because of girl/boy stuff. Does anyone know how I could mash all that together? Any ideas...
