Dear guys, I

Dear guys, I really l♥ve writing. My fourth grade teacher said she really truly belived I could publish a book as a kid author. My fifth grade teacher l♥ves my writing also. I was wondering if there were any magazines or newspapers that would actually take kid writing and make a small career out of it. And I'm not just talking about a something that takes anybody's work. Something that a grownup would write for. If only Cricket mag would give me a chance!

Lisa or Emma (not sure which name is yours),

The best chance for a young person to be published in Cricket is in Cricket League. We have  different contes in each magazine. We'd love to see your work there. Be sure to check the theme and rules on the Cricket League page or this Web site.

Love,

Old Cricket

Dear Old Cricket,

First of all my name is Emma, but all my friends call me Lisa Frank. It's this name of a brand that sells stuff that reminds them of me!Smile  I also love that brand. But we're getting off topic. I would LOVE to do Cricket League but I'm not good at drawing or poems and I would'nt get my work back anyway. I'm only good at writing.

Not to be sending readers away from Cricket or anything, but another great mag that publishes kid's work is Stone Soup.  I am currently tring to get published in it.  Good Luck!

STONE SOUP ROCKS! I, too, have joined the long queue of people trying to GET PUBLISHED in Stone Soup. Don't get discouraged if they don't take something, though; Stone Soup publishes less than one percent of all submissions it receives!Surprised
