The air is
The air is cool outside, small puddles of rain beginning to pool on the lush green lawn, and the cobbled driveway. It is dim, a dreary, drizzling morning. A carriage stands outside the mansion, the horses nowhere to be seen.
However cold it may be outside, inside the mansion is warm. The pitter-patter of rain on the roof-shingles is a muffled, steady drumming in the background. From the attic to the cellar, the entire house is waking up. The quiet footfalls of servants are soft on the plush red carpet, and doors are slowly creaking open as the residents of the mansion awaken.
Happy candle-light floods the house, as fires are lit and candles are placed, to warm the grand old house. It is a special morning.

This is not and RP–rather, it is a castle. Here is the first castle, in case you do not understand the concept: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/398819
Good luck.

As the day goes by, my eyelids start to lower. I haven't had much sleep since I set out on this journey. The gentle breeze whispers to me; sleep, Rose, sleep. When I wake I'll tell the people at this mansion what I'm here for.
