I open the door of my one-story house and feel a warm breeze. Down the street I spot some neighbors talking and a couple of their kids biking around. I decide to take a stroll down to the boardwalk to get some taffy. I walk down the street without a care in the world, and smile and wave to a couple neighbors. When I finally reach the boardwalk a flock of geese flies above me. I am feeling great until I walk into the taffy shop. It is completely empty. No one there. All I can hear is my own heartbeat. Then, I see it. A black goo oozing from the wall to the floor. It slinks over to me and curls around my leg. I grin. It's all ready. The salmon city block party will be a blast.
This is an RP where a couple characters try to find out what is so strange about Salmon city. This is a supernatural mystery/psychological thriller like Stranger things, X-files, Gravity falls, etc.

Other: She has several odd abilities that no one knows the source of.

I don't think anyone else is joining, so here is part 1:
The sun is shining brightly and your alarm clock starts blaring.You wake up, get dressed, and head out the door. Jumping on your bike you take a ride to the boardwalk, and quickly reach there.But to your surprise, no one is there. And something feels... off. Will I go back home, or investigate? You think to yourself.

Age: 16
Appearance: Black hair with Blonde streaks, and eyes that never stay the same color for long. She holds her head high, and wears old clothes splattered and stained with mysterious substances. She has an eyebrow piercing.
Personality: Skyling tries not to be noticed, but only because drawing attention is never a good thing. Despite her best efforts, though, she does anyway. She has a tendency to get in fights, and her temper gets in the way a lot. If something is strange, she has to know what it is and why.
Job/occupation: Official Salmon City Cataloguer. She's taken it upon herself to record all the weirdness in the city, and keeps her records in a huge leather-bound book. But for a real job she works part-time a sailor-themed Ice cream place. (If there is one of these?)
Good, evil, or neutral (I'd like to have a couple of each): Neutral. She just wants to know everything about the city and doesn't care who her sources are.
How long have you lived in Salmon city?: About eight years, although it could've been more. She lived with her family in an apartment until one day it blew up in a freak accident. An 8-year-old Skyling was the only one who made it out alive, but with no memory of the blast or anything before that.
Location of where you live in Salmon city(Apartment, suburban home, secluded house, ie.): In a small flat on the top of an abandoned old clothing shop.
Other: People believe that Skyling was the cause of the blast, being the only survivor out of 100 people. She wasn't, of course, but the whole incident is still a mystery. . .

Sorry, but I think I'll be ending this. I just got a bunch of schoolwork, so I won't have as much time to post. I may make it into a book with everyones characters though.
