Starshine was trying to save her brother (we're assuming this is a she for ease). You see, planet 56 is where all the outlaws are put in prison. It's a small, hot planet of orange color. 

And then this dude, Fao'jin'qua, is a guard. And he tries to stop Starshine from rescuing her brother, of course. But Starshine's father is Notishi Batika VI, a powerful and rich noblemen. 

When Fao'jin'qua acosted Starshine, he was commiting an unforgivable crime-punishable by banishment to planet 194, or even death. 

So, now that we've got that backstory out of the way, here's what we've got: 

Starshine is trying to sneak into the prison to save her brother. He's innocent, but he's been convicted before the Ultimate Court. There is no way to clear him other than to take him out of the prison.

She gets caught by Fao'jin'qua scaling the outer wall, with her blade out. Fao'jin'qua puts the teenaged human to the ground immediatly, beating her and then reporting her to the Highest Superviser of the prison. The Superviser then televised in to my home planet of Okiwa, which is ruled by my father. 

He immediatly sent for her, and she was cleared of all her crimes. Fao'jin'qua ran before anyone realized what he had done. Starshine's father then grounded her for a month. 

Ever since, she has been disgraced at the academy and in the market. The others snicker behind her back about her being a common criminal, a privilaged brat, and most recently, part of the rebellion involving Jax Kai, former commander in the armed forces. 

Jax Kai, known as the man who uses young, naive people to do his dirty work. Jax Kai had once been a mentee of Starshine's father. Before he joined the military, there had been many rumors about Starshine and Jax.

After this shameful experience, Starshine tried to go back to normal. But she was more determined than ever to save her brother, and to get revenge on the guard who had stopped her. Even if it meant getting involved with an outlaw like Jax, she would save him.
