Chatterbox: Inkwell

All right, let's

All right, let's think about something here. All our old RRRs and RPs in the Inkwell. You know, the ones that have died. I've been reading a few over, and they're really genius ideas quite a bit of the time. Eventually, as we know, the really old ones are taken off the site because we make new threads. The Admin have said that they don't keep records, so once something is gone, it's *gone*.

What to do? Obviously we can't keep every single story alive, even if we wanted to. But it seems sort of cruel just to let them go to waste. So again, what to do?

Hm. How about, every time you're tempted to start a new RR'R, just post on one of the old ones. I can't beleive my Fairy Round Robin died, it was coming along very nicely. Also TNO(umlaut)'s ship-in-the-cloud-sea story should be continued.

Also it seems to me that the threads more likely to go first would be the ones with no comments. (Just guessing.) So RR'R's aren't (I beleive) in much danger yet.

Dear Mary W,

I know exactly what you mean! Old RPs just die as knew ones come around, and then the new ones die, all before they should have died. RPs are only fun if everybody that signs up sticks with them!
