Hello. I have a question about ski lodges in general and this seems to be a good place to ask it. So, is there a set way the ski lodge has to end? Like, does EVERYONE die? Or do the CBers find out who the murderer is? None of the ski lodges I read are finished yet so I don't even have anything to reference... HELP!

When Summer and I wrote (and finished) a ski lodge together, we were wondering that too. At the end of our ski lodge, the murderer killed all of the other participants and went off to study Dark magic with Voldemort. Then, the hosts revealed ourselves and brought everyone else back to life.

Upon a little research, I discovered that Viola? and Alizarine ended their ski lodge the same way. The murderer killed all of the other participants, then the hosts brought everyone else back to life.

So then I went searching for other finished ski lodges, and I found Micearenice's finished Lake Lelilo ski lodge... which is kind of legendary in my mind, just like Owlgirl's Island Paradise Resort ski lodge (which I, alas, couldn't find)... anyway, this one was rather complicated and had something to do with the Mystery, which I couldn't figure out in my few minutes of reading, but if you're curious, I linked it below with the others.

This link that another helpful CBer sent shows an example of a finished ski lodge. This might help answer your question. However, I think a lot of it depends on the person who created it.

They're usually CBers.

Or AEs or CAPTCHAs.

But I suppose if a ski lodge said you could make up characters for it then that would be okay.

Ski Lodge participants are always CBers and AEs. If they use OCs, they’re a solo write.
