So, um...hi. Mckenzie here. Yup, that’s me. So, I don’t really know how to do this, or how to start this, but...um, this is my life. I guess?

Ch.6-Mckenzie

We kept getting separated and going to different foster homes. We were sad...but really happy to not get adopted. We really wanted to be together. But we didn’t particularly like the adoption center.

One day we were told we all got to have the same foster parents. Or parent. 

We got in the car and drove to near where we lived when mom was alive. I got angry, but followed the careworker into a familiar building. We got in the elevator and reached a large apartment. 

The door swung open and I started crying.

There, standing in the door frame, was Ms. Nelsen, her arms wide open, welcoming us in. All of us. Together. And she loved us. All of us.
