Chatterbox: Inkwell

Ok, I'm making another book thread because I really want to share some parts of my book that I'm writing, but I can't find another thread about that. So, here goes!!

~Chapter One, part one~

Black.

That's all I remember. Then, a bright light flashed in my eyes as I sat up. "Ok, the test is done." A female scientist said. "Ohhhhh... My head is pounding!! What happened?" I asked rubbing my head. "BRADLEY!!!!!! HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHI!!!!!!" A blur leaped on me and squeezed the breath out of me. It was Lizzy, my girl friend. Ok, maybe not that kind of girl friend. She was my friend. Who was a girl. You get the idea. Anyway, she let go and I took in a deep breath. "Oh, sorry. That was.. Unexpected, right?" Lizzy said, braiding her deep red hair. She kinda reminded me of Ariel, from The Little Mermaid, with her sea blue eyes, tan skin, pink lipstick, and of course, her hair and voice. But she wasn't Ariel. She was Lizzy, the tomboy. Man, can she be tough or what? Anyway, her and I got out of the lab and met with her younger brother, Davin. "Where were you? Mom wanted you home before lunch." Davin said. "Bro, it's only, like, two minutes after 12:00. I'm not gonna get in trouble. And that;s a fact." Lizzy said, walking up the front steps. "Well, hello, Bradley. Haven't seen you in a while." Lizzy's mom, Rayne, said. "Yeah. Any news?" I said, as I looked at the kitchen. "Well, Lizzy's father...Disappeared." Rayne said.
