<This is only my second rp, and I already have one running, so I’m not so sure how well it’ll go…but I will try to post frequently, at least once every two days. Anyways, there seems to be surge in role-plays at the moment. Please read this ENTIRE post before making a character.>

Three clans, Star, Shadow, and Moon, all under the twelve beacons of the Zodiac, the astral bodies which watch over the lands. The Shadow Clan, ruled by the Minotaur Queen; the Star Clan, ruled by the Lioness; and the Moon clan, ruled by the Twin Empress. The Zodiacs are at war, Moon against Star against Shadow. And even within the clans, feuds exist. 
The clans are troubled. In the midst of war, there are rumors of a new uprising, a faction, known as the Perseids, with unusual powers. The Perseids claim to belong to no zodiac — and they claim to be the true heirs of the land and sky. But is is true? The Perseids don’t fight in the war: instead, the strike at the clans in subtler ways, often stealing items of great power and advantage to use to their own gain.
How will the war resolve itself? Will the Perseids take over? You wonder at these questions. Maybe all is not as it seems…

Some more background:
The Minotaur Queen is under the sign of Taurus, as you probably guessed. I’ll be playing as her, so she’s not an available character, but you can make charries for either the Lioness (Leo, duh) or the Twin Empress (Gemini, and it’s not empresses plural, but just one empress). Within the three clans are the individual zodiac signs. 
Up to TWO magical abilities are allowed, as long as they RELATE to your Zodiac. (If you don’t know what the zodiac symbols are, google them or something…) 
If you’re wondering why everyone is a queen, the Zodiac society is matriarchal, so many (but not all) of the people in important leadership positions may be women.
Not much is known about the Perseids, but I was thinking they should be formed out of hybrids between zodiacs, and because they were hybrids they were kicked out of society. You can play as the leader of the Perseids if you want.
You can make up to six charries, max. The Zodiac people are humanoids who have 
features of their zodiac. Like, an Aries might have ram horns, or a Gemini might have been born into a set of twins with a telepathic connection. I was thinking the Perseids, being hybrids, could have features from the zodiacs of both parents. Idk really, so be creative. Just not OP.

Sheet for my first charrie:

 

Name: Lexandaria Taranis (“The Minotaur Queen” — her close companions call her “Lexa”)

Gender: Female

Clan (Star, Shadow, or Moon, or Perseid): Shadow

Zodiac symbol: Taurus

Magical Abilities (two at maximum): As a Taurus, her strong willpower gives her the ability to influence people (by whispering a suggestion, she can basically twist people’s wills).

Personality: Determined, decisive. She has a regal, powerful, elegant attitude befitting for a queen. Can be stern and indifferent to people from different clans, but unexpectedly kind and warm towards people in her favor. 

Age: At 25, she’s a young queen, but she’s quite popular with most of the people in the Shadow clan.

Strengths: Very determined. She has a strong willpower (as stated in Magical Abilities). She’s a natural leader and a pretty good fighter if necessary.

Weaknesses/phobias: Threats to her kingdom and her people. She’s also  claustrophobic (aversion to tight spaces). She can sometimes be overly stubborn.

Appearance: Thick, wavy black hair, streaked with hints of gold. Fair skin, gold eyes. Fairly tall, at around 5”10. Her Taurus aspect manifests itself as a pair of bull horns curving out of her scalp.

Backstory (optional): I can’t think of anything interesting at the moment, but I’ll probably come up with something later.
