Ok, forgot to
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Ok, forgot to
Ok, forgot to say somthing! i'm working on two series, not one. (Amber Toling, i thought that was the only story i was working on) I'm working on two, the second one is The House on Maple Street. this is the first chapter:
A long time ago in a town far far away, there was a house. It was like all the other houses on Maple Street except for one thing. In the kitchen, there was a button. A red and shiny button behind a pane of tinted glass. No one knew what would happen if they pressed it. Many families lived in that house. Many families have moved out of that house suddenly and mysteriously. And now, the house belongs to Jessica and her mom Bea. They never touch that button.
Chapter 1
The unknown
One day Jessaca’s mom called to her, from the kitchen. “Jessica! Come down here please!” “Ok!” Jessica ran downstairs. “What is it, Mom?” “The house. It's shaking.” Said Jessica’s mom. “I think it's an earthquake! they both dived under the table and waited for the shaking to stop. Once it did, Jessica’s mom looked out of the window. She nearly fainted. “What is it? Mom?” Jessica crawled out from under the table. Jessica’s mom pointed a shaking finger out the window. She shuddered and whispered, “I think we’re on the moon…” “WHAT?” shouted Jessica. “I know. I know. Somehow, we are on the moon. At least I think it's the moon…” said her mom. “the button…?” said Jessica weakley. “I didn't touch it.” “It Had the case on it. Nobody could touch it unless they took the cover off.”Her mom reassured. “Then how did we end up on the moon?“ Jessica said, worried. “I don't know.” her mom replied. “Well… I think we should look around.” Said Jessica. “But, we can't breathe on the moon!” Her mom stressed. “I know, but did you notice the window is open slightly? We must be able to breathe…” Jessica stuck her head out of the window to check. “Yeah, we can breathe! Come on, let's pack a bag and check this place out.” So Jessica's mom filled a bag with a good lunch and bottled water. She also packed a flashlight and a pair of binoculars. “Get your hiking shoes!” yelled Jessica's mom. So Jessica put on her shoes and they opened the door and stepped out of the house.
