Basically, this will be an RP, but with only a few people! Maybe just the people who commented on that thread ^^^ becuz including me that's six, a good number for this.
We'll start out with one charrie each and make more if needed as we go along. But I thought first of all we could discuss, what genre/what kind of story will this be? I love fantasy best, and mystery would be fun. So those are ideas. We can have a vote i guess xD And when we're done with that, we can make the characters and after THAT we can decide how they are all related to each other and after THAT we can start writing. Whatever. We can just figure this out as it goes.
This will probably go pretty slowly, so please only join if you are committed and willing to take time with this!!! Thank you!!!! The purpose of this is to actually finish something for once, and have it be well written as well!

you can decide if Blue should be a main-main character. maybe each of us has one main character and the rest are just characters? (does that make sense?) um... ill probably make another character. and... and im gonna make a antagonist, (although they will be a NPC) soon. cant wait for this to start! i have a little idea for some history...
-maybe one secret reason Azazel hates dragons and fears them is that as a kid he was attacked by a rouge dragon? and he has scars or something, that he hides. maybe a long puffy scar down the back of his arm, and thats why he wears billowing robes all the time. just an idea, i feel like im not commiting to the history/worldbuilding enough.
you do have a solo write and a RP with your friend Miley...
oh... yeah. but this is so great im determined to be much more commited! =)

So before we start and stufff some worldbuilding questions that we should probably figure out:
Dragon Riders
- how do you become a Rider? Is there a training process or rite of passage?
-is there a city of Dragon Riders?
- does every human have rider potential or is it a special ability?
-how are the dragon and rider linked?
-do dragons talk, or communicate telepathically, or what?
- what kind of special abilities do dragons have? breath weapons, etc? do they have weaknesses to balance them out?
- when do the dragon and rider bond? from the egg, as adults, somewhere in between?
- if a rider or dragon dies, can their partner form a new bond?
Emarya
- what's their political/social structure? is it a democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, etc? are there strict clsses or is everyone equal?
- what's the geography like?
-what's their military like? do they have their own or do they rely on the riders?
- is there some kind of conflict that the dragons could help with, or does Azazel plan on conquering the world, or what?
Kind of a lot, but I'm fairly sure at least some of these might be plot relevant. also I drafted some maps, the one in the bottom right corner is suppposed to be on a plateau andthen grassands or something

k so here's some of what I was thinking:
-for being a Rider many people are just born into it, but not all of them have to be. What do you guys think?
-They share the Dragons' territory. I think I mentioned that in my part of the history? Not sure.
-I'm not sure how this should work either. I thought maybe something could "set them apart" - maybe the ability to speak to dragons? *shrug*
-I'll leave this up to you other guys
-Well I think communicating telephathically is good, but they still have a language. If you have a human who doesn't know the language but can communicate telephatically, they still can't talk w/ the dragon
-Well, flying and breathing fire are the pretty basic ones it'd make sense to have, and each dragon should probably have at least one vulnerable spot on their body, kinda like Smaug in the Hobbit... are there other ideas you guys have?
-What do y'all think?

As for the Emarya stuff, my only input is that I think it should be some kinda monarchy, and the Riders are definitlly seperate from the military.

Ok, I'm going to make one more charrie. She is an evil supporter very close to Azazel.
Name: Raven
Age: seventeen (17)
Gender/Pronouns: female, she/her/hers
Dragon Rider, Supporter of Azazel, Inbetween, or Dragon?: Supporter of Azazel.
Appearance: She has jet-black hair that glimmers in the sunshine that reaches past her waist, which she keeps in a low ponytail almost constantly. She is really tall, and actually looks a lot like Lexi, other than the hair color.
Personality: She can be super mean to anyone who doesn't agree with her, but deep down, she's actually a real softie. It's just really hard to get through to her.
Background: (if you want we can work on this more after we've all made our charries, to link them together) She came from a family that strongly supported Azazel, and soon her family became very close to Azazel and ended up living with him in his palace. However, her parents soon realized that Azazel was really the evil one in this war, and they started making plans to escape, but they were caught and killed by Azazel's guards. Raven doesn't know this. She thinks they died of natural causes, and Azazel had begun treating her like a daughter after her parents death. In the end, I want her to turn to the side of the dragon riders.
If dragon, who is their dragon rider, and if dragon rider, who is their dragon? (we'll figure this out the same way we do with shipping) N/A
Shipping? yes or no: Most likely not.
Other: By the end of the story, I want her to become friends with Lexi (my other charrie) and end up switching sides.
I would love to start writing. One question. do the dragon riders have a base camp or whatever? If so, where is it?

I am SO sorry I didn't post this sooner! I couldn't decide between some character ideas I had, but I ended up just doing all of them. Well, I'm still deciding if I'll do the third one, but I'll probably post it tomorrow.
Name: Jasmine Lockall
Age: 14
Gender/pronouns: she/her
Role: Dragon rider
Appearance: medium brown skin, curly dark brown hair, blond at the ends, hazel eyes, average build, on the shorter side, likes to wear eclectic, colorful clothes, but still be comfortable
Personality: extrovert, very friendly and kind, loyal, hardworking, can be gullible, loves people (as well as dragons, of course), smart, loves flying but is somewhat scared of going too high or fast since she just started, so her older brother teases her about it.
Background: her parents are both experienced dragon riders, and are close with the leader of the dragon riders (or one of them could be the leader, if someone wants to make a charrie sheet for them). She's grown up in the dragon riding community and has never been very far from dragon territory.
Dragon: Stella
Shipping? sure, but she could also just use a really good friend.
Next charrie! Name: Stella
Age: uhh, adult, but still pretty young for a dragon (idk what age she'd be in human years)
Gender/pronouns: female, she/her (wow no male dragons so far)
Role: dragon
Appearance: her scales are kind of a light gold, yellow-y color, with some pink and blues scales and a pink underside and dark blue eyes
Personality: takes things really seriously, a bit overprotective of Jasmine, dramatic, a total romantic
Background: She the oldest of Elatza (the dragon queen)'s daughters, grew up pretty normally for a dragon except for being a princess, of course.
Dragon rider: Jasmine

Appearance: red-gold scales, very muscular and battle scarred, large claws, quite agile for his age
Personality: practical and can be grumpy, a tad coldhearted. Very loyal to his queen but kind of likes to do things his own way.

- how do you become a Rider? Is there a training process or rite of passage? I think it’s something you have to be born with. Though I think you should have to go through a training process to become a good Rider.
-is there a city of Dragon Riders? I think the Riders should share the dragon’s territory.
- does every human have rider potential or is it a special ability? I think you should be able to talk telepathically, like that’s something you are born with. Also you have to be choosen by a dragon. If you aren’t, you are offered a position other than a Rider.
-how are the dragon and rider linked? I don’t really know. Perhaps it’s just a close relationship, really close. And maybe each Rider and dragon has their own telepathic language that only they can understand.
-do dragons talk, or communicate telepathically, or what? I think the dragons should have their own language. But to talk to humans they have to use telepathy.
- what kind of special abilities do dragons have? breath weapons, etc? do they have weaknesses to balance them out? Well, fire breathing and claws. I think we should have each dragon have their own unique weak spot.
- when do the dragon and rider bond? from the egg, as adults, somewhere in between? Maybe right after they hatch.
- if a rider or dragon dies, can their partner form a new bond? I think no.

- what's the geography like? I can draw out a draft map and post it, if you want. You can give me feedback, what to add, what to take away. Then I can make a final map. (I enjoy drawing maps).

Okay, so here’s a draft map of Emaryan. I’m working on one of the dragon’s territory. Let me know if you think of anything that I should include in it!
I need names for some of the places for this map. I’m listing them below. Please give your ideas.
- Forest
- River
- Creek
- Castle (I’m calling it Azazel’s Castle but I think it needs a better name)
- Road
- Grasslands
- Village (I need the names for 3 villages)
Let me know if I should change or add anything! I’ll make a finished map once I get the names.

I think the river should be called the Sana Amnis, latin for healthy stream, but I guess everyone can just call in the Ammie. I guess the forest can be called the Silvado, because it sounds cool and silva is latin for forest. I don't think the creek should have an official name, everyone should just call it "the brook" or something like that. I think a good name for a village is Sundime. I just think it has a good ring to it. Well, that's all I have for now. I may start RPing tomorrow, because I think it's about time. Ok bye now.
