Appearance: Average height, with deep golden brown skin from spending so much time in the sun. She has thick, dark hair often kept in a braid, but she tends to keep it covered so that she can pass for earth kingdom. She also has dark golden eyes, but wears traditional earth kindgom clothing in order to disguise her distinctly fire kingdom appearance.

Background: Jakra was born in the fire kingdom and grew up there. She wasn't completely poor, but she was only a couple steps above being so, and when she was 16 she and her mother moved to the earth kingdom so that they could find better work and avoid the draft, and hopefully earn enough money to send Jakra to the air kindgom to get a better education. 6 months later, however, her mother was forced to return to the fire kindgom, but Jakra stayed behind to keep working. She's been there two years now, but increasing hostilities towards the fire nation have lead to her hiding her identity to avoid prejudice.

Personality: Jakra is very sharp, but cautious. She is fiercely proud of her kindgom and their culture and will challenge anyone who questions her them, yet she is also deeply ashamed about what they have done to the earth kindgom, and is trying reconcile these two conflicting feelings. She disagrees with their leaders and the decisions that they make. She has learned to cover up her fire kingdom accent, but it tends to reveal itself when she's very upset or angry. Otherwise, she is quiet, but in a powerful way, not a shy way, and is secretly terrified of her nationality being discovered and being sent back to be drafted, since it's often difficult to hide. She's learned to be very self sufficient but is also very lonely, since she has to keep most of herself a secret. Smart but not super well educated, and still dreams of making enough money to go to the air kingdom to learn more.

Quirks: She has a slight limp from an injury to her knee when she was younger, which tends to flare back up sometimes, and a surprising sense of humour when she needs it. Despises fish.

Flaws: Untrusting of others, stubborn, usually pretty defensive, and although she's pretty good at hand to hand fighting, she's not that great of a shot. She's got a bit of a temper which can lead her to hold grudges.

Are they one of the Elementals?: No, but she's on their radar. They know she is fire nation and want to recruit her.

Name: Charity Blaine (Would perhaps go by Char.)

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Nationality: Air

Appearance: On definately the shorter side, and slight.  She has long, bleach blonde hair, intricately and gently braided, and it reaches to her waist.  She has extremely pale skin, and a some freckles spotted here and there.  Grey-blue eyes.  She enjoys wearing skirts quite a lot.

Background: Charity is the youngest of all of her siblings.  She has three older brothers, and one older sister.  Her mother died of childbirth and her father just disappeared randomly, leaving no trace left.  She grew up some-what believing what her siblings had told her, telling her not to trust anyone except from your nationality.  Her siblings dispised the Earth element the most, and told her to never trust them, no matter what.  Charity believed in always doing the right things, so she didn't care what element anyone was.  She grew up very lonely, though, and always looks back to always wanting a friend.

Personality: She's very cheerful and bubbly.  She can be quite childish, but not in an annoying way.  She's always quite friendly.  She's very naive, and clumsy, and always gets into the wrong situation at the wrong times, it seems.  She's quiet, and always stick to being lonely over having a lot of friends, growing up that way.  She loves different vintage things, reading, and drawing.  She has a lot of determination and has a lot of love to give.

Quirks: Large feet - being extremely clumsy, talks very quietly, constantly figeting and can't sit still, has a little bit of a stutter, and left-handed.

Flaws: Being extremely clumsy, talking too softly, trusts people a lot, stutters, and she's really lonely a lot.

Name: Cyraeus Mattil

Age: 19-20 ish

Gender: Male

Nationality: Water

Appearance: Tall and muscular, light brown skin, dark brown hair in dreads, blue eyes. high cheekbones & upturned nose. big calloused hands from hard work. wears a sleeveless dark blue tunic w/ fur around the sleeves, a brown belt w/ pouches and a curved knife hanging off of it (one of his best posessions, he keeps it razor-sharp), brown leggings, brown boots. all his clothes are a bit worn, not tattered but like they've been worn a lot- a hole in the toe of his boot, frayed edges at the neckline of his tunic, a chunk of fur missing form his sleeve. carries a brown messenger bag with a torn strap

Background: His father was a trader from the Fire kingdom, whom he never knew. He's self-conscious about his mixed nationality, especially because he looks more like his dad than his mom. his mom works hard to support them both and he's been in and out of school since he was twelve or so getting part-time jobs. He's never left his town. 

Personality: he's very quiet, and prefers to avoid confrontation. he doesn't trust easily, and rarely makes descisions before he can see both sides. Plans out what he's going to say. shy but not timid if that makes sense. very level headed, hard worker. he gets nervous about breaking rules but won't say anything about it. could probably stand in the corner of a room and most people would forget he's there. he's smart but likes to look at things from all angles beore coming to a descision, so he has trouble with split-second choices. 

Quirks: has a tendency to walk up behind people and just stand there without them noticing, though sometimes he gets noticed just because he's so tall. he doesn't do it to be creepy, just does it out of habit. he has a good poker face. 

Flaws: he can sometimes let people walk over him, kinda prejudiced against the fire kingdom. Not all of them as people, but the kingdom as a whole. 

Elemental?: Yes, he joined up to kind of rebel against his fire nation heretage. like, he knows they're not objectively bad, but that's what he grew up thinking- everyone in his town hated the fire kingdom and he was teased relentlessly as a kid. he never did anything back and they eventually just kind of forgot he was there. 

Looks like air is a girl's club so far.

Nationality: Earth

Appearance: He has short, dark hair and tanned skin, although it is much paler than the other Earth islanders, since he is often shirking his work. He has a strong build, but you can tell that he doesn’t take advantage of it. He has a strong jaw and a determined expression, and he is very handsome. His hands are callused, but much less so than you would expect, given his nationality. He wears fine clothing and it is easy to tell that he was pampered and spoiled all his life.

Background: He was the youngest child in a rich family, and he was the only son in a family of 5 girls. His widowed mother doted on him, and his sisters did everything he wanted. Now that he has left the family nest, he lives with his wife, Aranya, who worships the ground he walks on.

Personality: He is charming and charismatic, but also lazy, sly, and cunning. He has a way of getting everyone to do what he wants, and all he ever works hard at is figuring out ways to get out of working.

Quirks: He has a fondness for mystery novels, and is very adept at solving the mystery before the detective, by putting himself in a criminal’s point of view.

Flaws: Like I said before, very lazy, sly, and cunning.

Are they one of the Elementals?: Yes, he says so at least. Mostly only since Aranya is one.
