Hi! I'm Georgia, one of Mary's AEs. Mary calls me an optimist. I don't know what that means, though. My hair is a wavy red-brown, and I'm really short, but that doesn't stop me from climbing!! I loooove climbing trees!!!!!!

Ha ha, you wish. You could say that I'm quiet, but sometimes I have things to say. But when I'm in the MIDDLE of a GOOD BOOK, I usually don't stop to have a conversation. (glares)

So, yeah. That's Georgia and Arrow, my AEs. When I decided to create them, I just opened up a document and started making bullet points of what I wanted them to act like. I don't have a CAPTCHA yet, though.

I can help! So Æ stands for Alter Ego, and it's basically a representation of a different part of your personality. Like, for example, if you're really introverted and shy but you're really energetic with friends, one of your Æs could represent your energetic side. Captchas are the 5-letter code you have to put in before you submit a comment (the "i'm not a robot" code), but a lot of people create Captcha pets, which speak in 5 letters at a time and are usually adorable. My Captcha, for example, is a pit bull puppy with oversized rainbow wings. 

The recommended limit for Æs is three, but people have had more. You can have as many Æs as you want, but I will say that it's easier to develop your Æs' personalities if you have fewer of them. Plus, there are only three types of fonts on Chatterbox-- bold, italics, and bolditalics, and you're supposed to use one font per Æ to differentiate them. Though theoretically you could use decoders *like this* {or this}, like Ella Starburst's Æs. 

My Æs are named Night Vision, Samantha, and Reese. Night Vision is introverted and nerdy, but very sweet. She likes to draw and take walks. She's pale, has short black hair with blue tips, and dark eyes with constellations in them. She likes to wear hoodies and workout leggings. She is also telekinetic. Samantha is very sensible and intelligent. She thinks it's her job to keep the other Æs under control, and she can be a bit bossy, though she's also compassionate and good at dealing with people's emotions. She is tall and slender, with short blue hair and piercing blue eyes. She wears a dark gray t-shirt and jeans, and short black boots with low heels. Reese is very energetic and goofy, and she tends to be pretty impulsive. She acts very witty and bold, but she's secretly a bit introverted and insecure. She has short, spiky black hair and yellow eyes, and wears a black crop top with a teal spray painted moon on it as well as ripped black jeans, black combat boots, and a black lace choker and fingerless gloves. She wears one silver hoop earring, which helps control her shapeshifting powers-- she can shapeshift into a black cat.

She's not always this overbearing, she just had too much sugar.  she is my first OC, (I have a ton more I never put on here.)  and she is always. Happy. Always.

she has one look that she really never changes out of (besides when she went to the AE Ball,)  Green hoodie, blue leggings.  

Tips for making an AE/OC.  Don't. Rush. It. If you do it might end up pretty badly.

So, I have one AE, named Spring. My process for making her was probably a lot different than other people's processes for making theirs. Basically, Spring is the me-that-isn't-me. She's all my personality traits that I never express. She's my future self (as I imagine her) and that's what makes her my Alter Ego. But I know it's really common for others to make AEs that represent different aspects of their personality that they do display.

And on that note, Spring, do you want to come say hi?

*sigh* Fine. I'm Spring. And right now I have better stuff to do. 

Cool! I'm fairly new to the Chatterbox's AE's and CAPTCHA's too, but I've had OC's for as long as I've been writing my books.

Why is everyone here all of a sudden? You realize I am actively trying to post a comment on the CB?

Are you? I hadn't noticed, frankly. You seemed to be daydreaming. 

All right, all right...as you can see, those are my AE's/OC's, Vara, Crow, "Juno", *Dunefox*, and Finale. They're my creative/artsy/introverted side, my sarcastic/deadpan/smart side, my "kind/empathetic" side, my *brave/adventurous/gallant* side, and my dramatic/extroverted side. I listed them "in order" of who surfaces the most. They all have different appearances (too complicated to write here I might elaborate more) and different motives. But for the most part we coexist. 

That depends on how you define "coexist." 

ANYWAYS. Their names all kind of reflect some aspect of their personalities, the names were deliberate. I like sort of keeping a blank document where I write down our experiences. It's really interesting to see how their personalities affect –
