You wake up lying in the sand. That should be odd, but your brain seems to find it quite natural. How did I get here...? you wonder. But when you search your memory, you find nothing. Nothing at all. You dimly remember your name, and that you come from a place called the Chatterbox, but when you try to recall the steps you took to get here, you only see a blank slate.
Unsettled, you stand up to examine your surroundings. You appear to be on a sandy plateau dotted with palm trees. Around you, others stand, all looking vaguely distraught. With a sudden flash of insight, you realize they must have lost their memories too.
Suddenly it occurs to you to examine your body for clues. Looking down, you see a few small scratches, but nothing unusual. However, as you brush sand off your pants, you notice something written on your hand.
Looking closely, it appears to have been scribbled hurriedly in pen, by a hand other than your own.

Water has blurred the ink at the end, leaving it unreadable.

Name: Sally Bumpkins! Ok, Bumpkins is not my actual last name, but I wish it was. We don't even have a last name. Maybe we should make it Bumpkins.
Maybe we should wait until we could find a name more... fitting?
What? It perfectly fits... ohhhhhh, you mean it doesn't fit you. That makes sense.
Gender: I'm a girl. Or maybe not. You don't know.... But I sm a girl.
Age: 100,000,000,000,000,000,000. Take out 19 of those zeroes and you have got my actual age. I just wanted to throw in a bunch of zeroes to make this more interesting.
Appearance: I look awesome! And also, I have bright blue eyes, I have many freckles on my cheeks, I have a bright pink shirt with a white unicorn with a rainbow mane and tail on it, I have bright yellow shorts, and I have some rainbow-colored sneakers that light up when you walk in them! I also have blonde curly hair in a ponytail that reaches just over the shoulders!
Personality: energetic! And I am social and an extrovert, and I like to be annoying to other people, and I'm reckless, but my friends don't care! And I like to involve everyone in everything! I also am optimistic, and I'm also bubbly, and I don't read emotions well. I just think everyone is happy!

To answer the whole 'what are you going to do' thing, I'd probably realize that we are someplace mysterious and I would be excited to start off on an exploration of the place. I'd then discuss it with happiness with Alice, and then, noticing the other AEs on the beach, rush over to them and ask if we could set out and explore this island.
I'd probably be really flustered at first, looking around frantically and wondering where on earth we could be. Then, once I gain my bearings and Sally comes and talks with me, I'd then try and wonder how we got here (probably turning out to be fruitless). Then, I'd realize the message and wonder who sent it and who they could be telling me to watch out for. I would make a mental note of it and get up. I notice the other AEs, and realize the probably best way to figure this out was to discuss it with others, or at least try and stick together. So, with much reluctance, I go over to them and ask them questions about why we are here.

Gender: Female, she/her
Age: 10-ish
Appearance: very short with smaller features; big green-blue eyes; pale/fair skin; skinny; shoulder-length dark brown hair that gets really poofy around her face/neck/shoulders.
Personality: Very mature, introverted, bookish, and intelligent. Estrella can be judgemental and cold, but only because she is afraid of what others would think of her if she really showed who she is. She is very deep and has very strong beliefs. She’s sarcastic and very neat and organized. VERY self-conscious. She is easily annoyed by immaturity. Don’t disturb her when she’s reading or writing poems, she gonna explode at you. While she may appear completely stable, she can hide some deep emotions- she feels sadness and annoyance on very high levels. Estrella spends her time reading, pondering philosophical questions, writing poems and short stories, and playing the violin. Can be stubborn when she wishes.

Personality: Song represents who I am in my soul. They’re introverted, humble, thoughtful, empathetic, and concerned about how many people are suffering. They feel guilty about having so much in their own life and try very hard to be as thankful as they can and give to others. They strive to be brave and helpful, and don't give themselves credit when they are. They’re pretty awkward, but they’re fine once they get comfortable with that person. They worry about being a burden, probably far too much. They love nature, and like to sing, fold origami, and doodle. They look for the beauty in little things, and they’re totally an old soul. Song is a sweet bean, but they often dwell on the past, mostly on their mistakes or what they wish they would have done. Has firm beliefs, but can’t normally bring themselves to defend them to someone who disagrees with them. Myers-Briggs type: INFP.

Age: Uhm... I suppose I'm eleven and one twenty ninth... Let's just say I'm eleven...
Appearance: Oh..! I'm four feet tall... I have hazel coloured hair with brown highlights... Green-ish grey eyes... Pale-ish skin... Dark brown freckles... My hair is usually in pigtails, or french braided pigtails... When it's down, it's waist length... I usually carry a small, black, faux leather bookbag and carry books in it... I usually wear cut overalls and a turtleneck... I have a braided string bracelet on, that's white coloured, my left wrist.... uh.... I'm usually wearing a flower crown! I always wear grey, cat, knee-high socks and pink-and-white trainers! I sometimes wear a pastel pink overlarge rain coat with sewn on cat ears on the hood... When it's not on me, it's usally tied to my waist...!
Personality: Arabella is someone who I'm practically obsessed with as an AE of mine. She's a cinnamon roll! She's practically me without some stuff. Arabella's usually quiet and she honestly barely talks. She can be childish, but not in an annoying way. (She's left handed, also.) She talks very slowly and hesitantly, trying not to mess anything up... She an extreme introvert. Sometimes she doesn't understand stuff that's easy meaning. She has schizophrenia, she also has arachnophobia, claustrophobia, insomnia, and anxiety. She's also terrifyed of dogs. She the kind of person who likes to linger off to the side and reads instead of communicating and talking to people. She's much better at talking to animals than people, she can't understand feelings well, being overwhelmed with mixed feelings. She can have breakdowns easily, not understanding so many feelings. She's usually out in the rain, thinking of anything on her mind, getting rid of her bad thoughts. She usually dwells on her regrets when she's alone. She tends to stick around with her cat, Tigger.

Age: About sixteen.
Appearance: I'm really tall, being 5'10". I have light brown hair, usually really messy. I have grey-green eyes and a few light freckles scattered all over my face. I usually wear a black baseball cap. I usually wear cuffed, dark jeans, a white short-sleeved shirt, black trainers, and a blue Butter Cloth shirt on. He wears a leather bracelet on his right wrist.
Personality: Alec is practically the opposite of myself. He's very impulsive and loud. He likes to talk. A. LOT. He is usually the one who carries on a conversation and he can make friends easily. He's an extreme extrovert. He usually gets bored easily and he's very impatient. He's immature, being annoying. He's smart and logical when he wants to, but most of the time, he's usually loud and immature. He gets into a lot of arguments with my other AEs, not usually the one winning the argument. He has dyslexia, but he's getting better at reading and understanding.
