Heh. What I did was make the familiar an actual living "person". Making them a character, giving them emotions, and everything like that, instead of making their familiar an animal.

Name: Navy Oteri

Age (10-18): 14

Gender: Male

Personality: very serious, introvert, bookworm, would rather be with books than friends, he tries to think things through but can be reckless. Only his close friends can see the creative side of him. He can sing!

Appearance: longish/shortish brown wavy hair, amber eyes, average height for a 14 year old, a few freckles, wire glasses, black jeans, flannels, white t-shirts, painted converse.

Familiar: a minature pheonix camed Jax that can change the color of its fire. 

Magic (type of magic): specializes in offensive fire

Shipping: open to shipping with females or males (I am cringy. BE WARNED) 

Other: 

Since we have quite a few people now, I think we can start as soon as Leafy gets her charrie in.

Name: Key

Age (10-18): 16

Gender: Female

Personality: Kuudere, since many of us are using anime terms. A kuudere refers to a character who is often cold, blunt, and cynical. They may seem very emotionless on the outside, but on the inside they're very caring — at least when it comes to the ones they love. Key often comes off as arrogant because she is very smart and doesn't really understand why people don't know what she's talking about. She is stubborn, and her logical approach to life wins her almost every arguement. However, she is kind to those who are gentle enough to get close to her, lonely and longs for love, selfless in battle and heartless towards those who hurt her friends.

Appearance: Key is actually a False Seraph, a creature who has six angelic wings, two small horns on her hairline, and an otherwise human body. Her hair is brown but when she uses her powers it turns a gleaming white, the brightness scaling with the intensity of the magic. Normally, False Seraphs would be a "familiar" but Key got in because of her proficiency in magic.

Familiar: A female margay named Lace. Lace really likes to wear ribbons, and her favorite color is blue.

Magic (type of magic): Soul.

Shipping: YES with a boy her age.

Other: She's an advocate against humanoid familliars, like elf familiars etc. Horrible things were done to her in the past. She used to be a familiar to a horrible boy, but she ran away and broke the spirit bond all familiars have with their wizards/witches.

Name: Stella

Age: IMORTAL!  

Gender: Female

Personality: We'll see!

Apppearance: A small, delicate three-tailed fox. She has glowing yellow eyes and silver fur. She has light blue boots, tail tips, belly, and around the nose area. The blue fades into silver. Her fur seems to sparkle with starlight. 

Familiar: She is a familiar... looking for a person though!

Magic: She's super good at sneaking and can turn invisible. She can sense other people's emotions and influence them. 

Shipping: Na.

Other: Stella's last person was a sorceress named Selenna, a teacher who died defending the school from a black sorceress named Maddie. Maddie had wanted to take over the magical world and started at the school, if it wasn't for Selenna and the other teachers. Maddie disapeared into the shadows and it's still said that she's waiting for her chance to take over the world.

Stella was left alone at the school, she's looking for a new person if any one wants to bite.

Personality: You'll see...

Appearance: Raven black hair, dyed purple at the tips. Rose has a rather pointy nose and deep, almost black, eyes. She wears a large, black, trench coat that has thousands of hidden pockets. She wears a purple T-shirt with a short black skirt. She wears soft black leather boots. 

Familier: a jet black three-tailed fox with glowing red eyes

Magic: Most comanly known... Control. She specalizes in making other's will her own will. Less comanly known is her abilities with Dark Magic.

Other: She's the great-great-great-many great grandmother was Maddie, the evil sorceress who wanted to take over the world. Jaarl, her familier, was acually Maddie's before she died. Rose is here to finish her great-grandmother's work, to take over the world. But she has some qualms about this...

Name: Isabelle Thomas 

Age (10-18): 14

Gender: Female

Personality: She's slightly overconfident, intelligent, to-the-point; she doesn't dance around things, is good at snappy comebacks, and speaks in sarcasm. Sometimes she comes off as rude but she's also charismatic in a way. Impatient. High-energy when she has a goal to achieve, sort of chill when she doesn't. Or like, calm, composed, nonchalant, tranquil. Not always a great listener. Sometimes takes her energy and enthusiasm and straightforwardness too far. Liable to pick fights with people she doesn't like. Into science and mysteries. 

Appearance: Dark brown, curly hair, mid-back length; she's tall, she has grey eyes, darker/tannish skin, full lips, she's not overweight but she's kind of chunky/muscular. She usually wears a lot of jewelry and some makeup. Her outfits are usually something like distressed jeans, graphic t-shirts, and jackets, or vintage clothing, or sweatpants. 

Familiar: A falcon named Mera

Magic (type of magic): Telekinesis, and maybe teleportation...?

Shipping: Open to boys

Other: For Marvel fans, she's sort of based off of Tony Stark and MJ

Name: Liam Evans

Age (10-18): 16

Gender: Male

Personality: He is quiet a lot of the time, kind of introspective, and artsy. He's compassionate towards people, and he's protective of people; he stands up for others and is considerate of other people's problems. He's the kind of person who doesn't talk a lot but has something worthwhile to say when he does speak. He's really into art and is usually sketching or making something. He tends to overthink things and he's kind of emotional, but often keeps it bottled up inside, and doesn't let it out. He's kinda introverted, but also likes to hang out with friends. 

Appearance: Dark brown eyes, slightly curly, fluffy, messy brown hair that's longer on the top and shorter on the sides, average height. Slender but strong. He's often smiling and his hands are usually covered with pencil graphite or ink streaks. He wears hoodies, like blue and grey and black, and often a ton of bracelets on his wrists. Leather ones and beaded ones and things like that. 

Familiar: A brown female tabby cat named Cerin 

Magic (type of magic): Defensive magic and healing

Shipping: Open to girls

Okey, we can start! I'll post my POV later today, and also, just to clarify, the school does not have uniforms.

Loli's POV

Loli popped up from behind a fake plant and shot a jinx at the curly-haired teleporter (Leafy's charrie). Before it could hit, the girl disappeared with a small pop. Loli grinned, and whirled around, shooting a jinx as she went, right in time to catch the curly-haired teleporter who had just appeared behind her. "Ha! Gotcha!" Loli grinned, watching as the teleporter transformed into a frog. 

A blow to her head from the beak of a bird taught her to duck down. It seemed that redhead anivoice (cerinthe's charrie) had been controlling it. The battle simulation room was a mess, with flowerpots and shelves strewn everywhere. It had turned out as an apartment room this round, and Loli was one of the last 13 people left in the room. Most people had an advantage over her, unfortunately - her being only ten, and without a familiar.

Loli was determined though! She shot out from behind the pot, and tackled the redhead anivoice. She was about to shoot the deciding jinx with her wand, when something hit her in the head - a shard of pottery. Loli turned around, barely seeing the frog, wielding the power of telekinises, as she blacked out.

A little later, Loli woke up in the infirmary. After she had been discharged, Loli started skipping through the hallway. Not noticing, she rounded a corner and slammed into a blondie with space buns and a rainbow jumper. There was a crack, as her glassed broke

"Hmmph! Why didn't you look where you were going?! I just got out of the infirmary!" Loli pouted.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!"

The girl dropped down beside her, spilling books everywhere. "I'll be fine, I guess. What's your name?" Loli asked, suddenly cheerful again.

"Gwen-gwendoline."

"Is that all?" Loli asked, peering into the reflection of her cracked glasses.

"Gwendoline Scarletwound! But, but you can just call me Gwen."

Loli grinned, and helped her pick up her books. "Well, Gwen! Do you wanna go shopping? We can get you some new glasses, and I can finally get a familiar!" she asked.

Okey, a little short, but I don't have much time, so we're starting! 

Rose~~~

Flashes of light and random booms filled the air of the practice room. What had once been a well organized apartment now looked like a war zone. The other students were running around like mad, absolutly no strategy to them at all. Me and Jaarl were hiding behind a large bookshelf, the only thing in the room that was untouched. My protective spell saw to that.

"Really, Rose, why aren't we out there in the fray?" Jaarl growled.

"Wait for the weaklings to be picked off, then we can take on the strongest by ourselves." I sighed. 

Jaarl has no patience at all and was an angry little fox to boot. Getting my mom's familiar when I was enrolled at this school was not something I was hoping for. But it was tradition. Every female in my family had to deal with Jaarl at some point in their life. 

He let out a large sniff and continued pacing around the rock. I got up off my knees and stretched. 

"Come on then, let's go show them what we can do." 

Jaarl smiled his toothy grin and leapt up on my shoulders, where he curled around my neck like a scarf. I charged in the fray, shooting off spells and doging returning ones. Jaarl acted as look out, thanks to him I managed to dodge a lot of sneak attacks. Then the battle practice was over and everyone filed out of the room, nursing bruises or being carried out by the infirmary workers. I was, of course, untouched.

I rolled over onto my back, rubbing it on the warm rock. The students were all inside, doing battle, and the school grounds were queit for once. I spent the morning napping. But when I heard two giggling girls out on the grass below me I woke up and peered over the edge. It was Gwendoline and Loli, both were heading out to town. 

Girls that age shouldn't be leaving the school. Why when I was here with Selenna no one was allowed to leave school grounds. Ever. I'd better follow and keep an eye on them. 

I leapt off the rock, making no sound as I land, and trotted after them. Keeping an eye out for danger. Gwen's familiar Lucky was a newb. No doubt he would be too busy playing with shadows to keep a proper eye out for danger.

“Ah! No, no, no! Lucky...! Please don't play with the shadows...!” I pushed up my glasses on the glasses bridge and ran over to Lucky, my black scrawny cat—err...—familiar. I scooped up Lucky, “Bad, Lucky! What if you got hurt.. or worse...” I shook my head, “Never mind!” I ran back over to Loli and set Lucky down. Lucky ran off again. I saw a spider crawling near where Lucky was attacking the shadows, once again. I shrieked, jolted back a little too far, and turned, starting to speed walk, not looking where I was going. Eventually, running into Stella.

“GAHHHHHH! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!” I screeched out, waving my arms every which way. Just as Stella was about to talk, I ran back over to Loli. I stood behind her, covering my eyes, “S-Sp-Spider!!” Stella walked over to Lucky and picked him up. “Here,” she said, while placing him down. “Thanks,” I said, still standing behind Loli, covering my eyes.

Loli and I went back to talking, Stella joining in with us. We later heard a few crashes of thunder and flashes of lightning. I screeched, once again. I covered my mouth, muffling, “Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!” Rain started pouring down, I scooped up Lucky and we all ran back inside the school, all soaking wet. Lucky sprawled out of my hands, falling out of my arms, but landing on his four legs. “What now...?” I turned to Stella and Loli. We eventually settled for sitting in the cafeteria at the tables. We then talked.

I walked to the cafeteria, seeing Gwendoline finally talk with other people except me. I turned to Fyre, my dragon familiar. “Can you go watch Gwennie and make sure she's safe?” Fyre nodded and waltzed over to Gwendoline, plopping right by her. I saw Gwendoline pat Fyre on the head. I smiled and walked off, walking over to Zealotdk and Juniper, Zealotdk standing in the shadows of the cafeteria with Juniper standing right by him. “Hey,” I started. He turned to me, “...?” Juniper hopped up and down, “Hi! Hi! Hi!” I smiled and looked down to Juniper, “Hey, Juniper.”

We later carried our conversation over to the entrance. Liam Evans walked over to us. Juniper hopped up and down again. “Hihihi!! I'm Juniper!” Zealotdk didn't really talk and he stayed in the shadows of the corridor that connects the entrance and the main lounge. I turned over to Liam, “Hello.”

"Come on, Lace." I say as I kneel down. Usually Lace loves being picked up, but today she lies there lethargically. I pick her up gently and place her around my shoulders. She just yawns. I smile. "Yes, I know. You've already told me multiple times this week that you're not ready to go back to school."
