After seeing what happened to the other Questors, we should also prepare for the same thing to happen to ourselves. Everyone should be on high alert, and we need to watch each other's backs.

Remember  that you in the story don’t really know what happened to the other Questors. However, you as a person in real life do know what happened.  Being cautious is a good thing though.

I thought I saw them vanish/turn to nothing when I was scrying?

You saw that happen but the you in the story doesn‘t know exactly what happened.  I’m sorry for the confusion.  I should have been clearer.

@Anymous: This thread is a Solo Write written about different personas on the Chatter Box. Each character/persona has the name/ penname of someone on the Chatterbox; who is participating in the thread. Currently a Quest is taking place and a monster called the Vassator is causing trouble. We post our decisions like a Chose Your Own Adventure or D&D; which effects the stories outcome.

Hope this helps; http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/204967

@Sybill :I believe Peregrine meant that while a reader can deduce the Vassator attacked. Our individual character's can't because they didn't read Part One (with group three). Hopefully this clarifies and doesn't add any confusion.

@Pergrine: I found the recent installment very amusing! As only in the CB is it legitimately possible to complain about not flying on a dragon :) . Also the Vassator is definitely becoming more terrifying as the story progresses. Like it's not like the Old Questors don't exist their simply: not there, haven't been there, and never were. In short, nothing.

Though I  did find the begging argument abit unclear. While one minor typo presented it's self: 'galred' instead of  'glared'. Yet, I'm sure auto correct just missed the later while the former could just be my own opinion. Overall Part Four was great and I can't wait to read more!

I apologize about the confusion in the most recent part.  The begining argument was simply people blaming others for the wrong direction taken when the road ended in Section 3.  Hopefully this clears things up.  If you are still confused tell me and I will try to explain in a different way.  I am not the best at explaining things.

As for the typo, I think that was the result of my own typing skills and my hurried proof read.  I never really used a keyboard a lot until the pandemic, so my typing skills still need a lot of work.

I turned off the auto correct for a couple of reasons.  One, I was sick of it correcting things I didn't want corrected.  Two, because I don't want to rely on auto correct to fix my spelling.  The downfall to turning off the auto correct is that now I can't blame my typos on it!

The confusion was only for a moment; I realized, about five minutes in, what you meant.

Don't worry about the typo, I could tell what you meant. And yes, I understand why you'd turn off auto-correct. Often it suggest words that aren't what I'm looking for. In which case looking up the definition normally helps, as a double check. I only mentioned the typo, cause I thought it might constructive to point out? Since you were aware and maded an effort to avoid typos, you did your best.

I've been know to rush proofreading as well, mostly for English assignments. Try not to stress, I don't mind waiting ten extra minutes for a new installment. Their allways great!

Thank you for pointing out the typo.  I'm sorry if I came across as sounding annoyed.  I wasn't, just trying to explain the reasons for missed typos.

My rushed prooof reading was mostly because I had to quickly get to something else.  If I close my tablet before I've hit the submit button it erases everything I've typed.  It's a pain.  But I have to put up with it.

I'll start working on the continuation of the last installment when I have time!
