One week ago, a messenger from the king arrived at your home. The messenger stayed just long enough to thrust a package into your hand. Then he rode off. When you opened the package there were three things inside. A small, heavy mirror, and a gold pin with a blue stone in it. Stuffed into the top, as if it had been pushed hastily inside was a letter. When you open the letter, it's blank, except for one hastily scrawled line at the very top.
Ask for Kera at the castle within a fortnight or you will
you cannot tell what the end of the letter says, because it is a blur of ink.

A little more background. You live in a kingdom of Everwhalis, where a third of the population have magical abilities. Of this third, most only have minor powers, such as making someone's beard grow longer, or repairing a smashed plate. You are one of the few people whose magical abilites are more prominent.

Okay, a few questions about your magical ability:
When you stop time, you can move around, right? But other people can't? Can you make it so that your friends can move around too, or is it just you? Also, and this sounds very backwards, but how long can you stop time for, as percieved by you?
