"Leave me alone!" Clovertoe screeched. Several cats looked up to see what the racket was all about, several were already watching.
"No! Not until you tell me!" Quickwing yowls.
The cats begin to take sides.
"She shouldn't have to share private information!"
"He deserves to know!"
Suddenly, Heatherstar emerges from his den.
"What is the meaning of this?!"

Lilypaw~
Lilypaw weaved through the throngs of cats hanging around at the Gathering. She had to find Snakepaw and Clovertoe so they could discuss.... whatever it was that they were going to discuss, before the leaders decided it was time to leave.
"Lilypaw!"
Mouse dung!
Lilypaw turned around to find Fishpaw, a RiverClan cat who had been apprenticed to Slipperytail not long before she became an apprentice. Fishpaw enjoyed hanging around Lilypaw, but Lilypaw found her rather naive and immature, ironically, since Fishpaw was slightly older.
"What is it, Fishpaw?" Lilypaw asked, feigning an energetic tone.
"Lilypaw! You won't believe it! Slipperytail and Splashwater are mates now!"
You had to stop me just to tell me that!? Out loud Lilypaw mewed, "Oh, that's so cool! I never would have thought they would become mates!"
"I know, right? Well, I'll see you later!" Fishpaw made her way back to her Clanmates, and Lilypaw hurriedly redoubled her efforts to find Snakepaw and Clovertoe. But just as she had seen them at the edge of the clearing and begun to make her way over, Silverstar called her.
"Lilypaw! We're leaving! Come on!"
"Oh!" Lilypaw gasped. She looked desperately at Snakepaw and Clovertoe, who looked at each other. Snakepaw said something, and then hurried over to Lilypaw.
"Moonhigh tomorrow, border between ShadowClan and ThunderClan, edge of the lake," he hissed. Lilypaw nodded, and rushed to join her Clanmates, where Silverstar was standing impatiently, tail flicking back and forth.
"What was that about?" he asked.
"Nothing," Lilypaw replied quickly. Too quickly. Hopefully Silverstar didn't suspect anything about her and Snakepaw.

BTW, this is in the old forest territory, not the lake territory. So maybe they're meeting by the owl tree?
Anyway...
Snakepaw impatiently sheathed and unsheathed his claws. How long would they take? He'd crossed a Thunderpath for this, possibly the worst experience in his life. Besides the border fight with Lily- No! Stop! I'm not thinking about that.
Suddenly, he heard rustling in the leaves above him. What kind of forest creature makes noise like that? Snakepaw wondered.
Oh, sorry, I've got to go. I'm really sorry...

Aaaargh! I'm so sorry! That was stupid of me. I... Never mind. Anyways...
Snakepaw gulped, expecting the worst. Did they discover us? Uh-oh...
But instead of an angry patrol, a tan-and-brown blur tumbled into a pile of leaves.
"Uff! Yowch!" Clovertoe's head emerged, spitting out a piece of bracken "Yuck!"
Snakepaw couldn't help but give a mroww of laughter. "You look ridiculous!"
Clovertoe glared at him. "How do ThunderClan and ShadowClan cats live in a place like this?" she huffed. But she couldn't hold back a grin.
"What were you doing in that tree, anyway?" said a voice behind them. Clovertoe snapped her head around with a mew of Lilypaw stepped out of a bush.

That was a mistake... My bad! I need to start over that one paragraph, though. sorry.
"What were you doing up in that tree, anyway?" said a voice behind them. Clovertoe snapped her head around with a mew of surprise, but Snakepaw would reognize that voice anywhere. Lilypaw stepped out of the bushes
"Oh, Lilypaw, it's you. Thank StarClan. Well, that squirrel just looked so tempting...
All three cats laughed. Snakepaw noticed how Lilypaw snorted a little when she giggled, which only made him laugh harder.
When the cats finally caught their breath, Clovertoe put on a serious face.
"Okay, guys, let's get to buisness."
"Clovertoe's right." Snakepaw agreed. "Any ideas of what we're going to do?"
"First, let's recap." Said Lilypaw. " Some ShadowClan cats were on ThunderClan territory, talking about moving to ThunderClan. That's what we know. What are questions we can ask? Firstly, why were ShadowClan cats on ThunderClan territory? Second, why would they want to live in ThunderClan? Are there any other questions we can ask? Do we have any information that can help us solve this mystery?"
There was a silence. Snakepaw stared at Lilypaw in shock.
Finally, Clovertoe said, "Wow. You are a good detective."
Lilypaw licked her chest fur self conciously. Thanks."
Snakepaw decided to speak up. "Well, you're obviously the detective amongst us. Why don't you start?"
Lilypaw shuffled her paws nervously. "Well, there's this prophecy..."

YAY, CLOVERTOE!! I missed you! Could you look on page three (I think) of this thread, near the bottom of the page, and tell me what you think about my suggestion for the prophecy's... whatever you want to call it? Coming true, I guess. Anyway, glad to see you're back for a bit!

I'm pretty sure we're the only two left here... Does that mean this thread is dead? I hope not!
Clovertoe gaped at Lilypaw. " And you haven't told Comfreytail yet?" She exclaimed.
Snakepaw sprang up and jumped in front of Lilypaw, glaring at Clovertoe, his back arched and shoulder fur bristling. " Keep it down, will you? It's her choice!" He growled.
Lilypaw widened her eyes in suprise. "Calm down, Snakepaw! It's fine! Clovertoe didn't mean anything by it." She mewed.
Snakepaw sat down, but didn't take his angry gaze off Clovertoe. She felt herself flinch, and claws seemed to tighten around her belly. Why were cats always glaring at her, anyway?
Lilypaw glanced fretfully at her. " I'm really sorry. I can see what you're saying. A cat in StarClan told me to tell her, but I didn't. I can see that being a... Crime, you may say. But it's just... It just doesn't feel right to tell anyone. Well, you guys, yes, but..." She faded into silence.
For a moment, the cats just sat there, thinking. Even Snakepaw took that fierce look off his face and switched into a puzzled one. Clovertoe thought about the prophecy, of course, but she also found her thoughts drifting to other things. For example, why did Lilypaw feel okay with telling herself and Snakepaw about the prophecy, but not her own Medicine Cat, even when ordered by StarClan? But more so, why was Snakepaw so quick to snap at Clovertoe? she sighed. Wasn't the answer obvious, she told herself? A pain stabbed her heart, and the claws clutched harder at her belly. It was her paw. Every cat hated her for her paw.
Clovertoe raised her head to the stars. Why me? she said silently. Why me?

Well, Tuxedo Kitten posted once, but other than that it's just us. Which doesn't make it dead, thankfully. That's if no one posts on it at all. I wish I could find Tux on Nano, but she left it. Also sorry this bit is so short, I'm suffering from writer's block, too many writing assignments, and chronic just-wanting-to-watch-Netflix, all rolled into one. *shrugs*
Lilypaw cocked her head as Clovertoe rolled her eyes at the sky. "What's the matter?"

Ah, here it is! Thank goodness! I wanted to look back on the story, but couldn't find the thread... Yikes, I nearly panicked! Anyways, top, please, admins.
