Hey can we please not joke about ‘traumatic events’ it isn’t funny it’s not a funny subject, I’m sorry ur mom gave u fish oil but it is really beneficial and it helps a lot of different body functions- take it it’s good for you. Again let’s please not joke about ‘being traumatized’ it is a touchy subject and can and probably has hurt people who actually went through something traumatic. Please show respect. Thankyou. <3 not meant to be mean, just poilety asking to refrain from frases like that or using mental health illnesses (ex: omg I’m so depressed rn! Darn that gave me some bad ptsd lolol. Wow think my mom has bipolar or something she grounded me again! That one event absolutely traumatized me hahaha) as nouns or verbs in your sentences, it is not hip and it is not nice and please please please can we stop using them to describe compleatly different unrelated things thankyou. <3 (most of you don’t understand what depression or being tramatisied feels like, and if you did trust me you’d know. So let’s stop using them to discribe ourselves or events unless it is super serious, then always feel free to talk to me or post something on my mental health thread. Thanks loves)

I’ve gone through traumatic experiences and I didn’t find this offensive or anything. I see where you’re coming from, but I think we all know Nyx was just joking.

Exact same situation here as Leeli. I actually found it funny, though, as my brother tricked me into eating one of those cod liver oils in a capsule... blech. He told me it was candy ;-;

I completely agree about words like PTSD, bipolar, or depressed (don't get me started on the casual use of depressed), as they're really triggering for certain people. But the entire thing was a joke, and all Nyx said was traumatic. She didn't take the joke any farther, didn't extend it.
