Ghost RP!!
October, 2019.
In an uninhabited forest region of Massachusetts, a town appears out of the mist.
Impossibly.
Nobody can remember building the town. None of the people who have lived near it, even those ancient souls who’ve lived in the neighboring town forever.
Obviously, there’s nothing to be afraid of- it’s just an odd coincidence. The town was probably abandoned by some early settlers. With a bit of care and some modern technology, it could become a beautiful little haven.
So thirteen families move in, perfectly filling the thirteen tumbledown Victorian houses in the town’s largest neighborhood.
Six families, coincidentally, have children- well, young adults, really- all the same age. That very same fateful number.
You guessed it- thirteen.
The teens have noticed something peculiar- something that the adults in the mysterious new town seem to be blind to- eerie, otherworldly sounds and apparitions popping up everywhere.
So they investigate.
And their world is turned upside down.

Okay. Hi guys.
Today’s my second CBversary (Well, okay, fine, the actual date of my CBversary is Saturday, but I couldn’t wait two whole days to post this!) so I decided to make an RP to celebrate!
And yes, I do know that this is December, not October. XD
In this RP, you can either be a Ghost or a Kid. The Kids are the thirteen-year-olds who investigate the town, the Ghosts are haunting the buildings. Each Ghost has something to put right in the world before they can rest in peace, and are enlisting the help of the Kids to make it right. This story is kinda rough so far- I’m leaving it up to you guys to develop it!
I’ll post my charrie once this thread goes up! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Rules:
1: One ghost or kid charrie per person please, unless I say that you can make others.
2: There are 6 kids and 5 ghosts (not including mine) available. You can make secondary charries if you wish, but once I say spots are closed, SPOTS ARE CLOSED.
3: No mean or rude comments to others! (Not that I expect that any of you would do this)
4: You can reserve a spot, but if you haven’t posted your charrie within 3 days, I will give your spot to someone else.
5: Please try to post. Don’t join if you won’t post.
6: Ghost people: Try not to make your character's appearance and/or cause of death too descriptive/gruesome.
7: Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!!

Alright, I know this took waaaay too long... sorry, I couldn't think of a motivation for the longest time. ;) But here we are! Hopefully not overdeveloped (yeah right XD).
Name: Christy Greene
Age they were when they died: 23
# of years dead: 28 (1991)
Appearance (features, hair and clothing- they all appear a shimmering bluish-white in color): She died wearing her Christine Daae costume, so she’s in a fancy lace dress with a flowy skirt and sleeves. Her hair is waist-length and extremely curly, and was dark brown, almost black, when she was alive. Big eyes, pale skin, and an expressive face.
Personality: Being dead as this character has kind of molded her personality to match- she’s innocent and naive. Soft-spoken, but not introverted. She’s diligent, hardworking, and can tend to be a perfectionist. Optimistic. Very sweet and compassionate. One of her greatest weaknesses is that her overactive imagination can cause her to get carried away with worries, especially about her friends and loved ones. She’s very modest, to the point where she has trouble saying anything good about herself (i.e. never would have been given the opportunity to audition for Broadway if not for talent agents).
Cause of Death: She was playing Christine Daae on Broadway, and the chandelier actually fell right on top of her. Was it just a freak accident- or a planned murder?
Connection to Ashmire: Born here, before she became a famous actress and went to Broadway. That was before the town disappeared. She haunts the theater because it was the first building she ever performed onstage in.
What building/object do they haunt?: Again, the theater. (A performance theater, not a movie theater. Just to clarify.). It’s tumbledown and dusty, but it could be fixed up if some of the kids want to.
What do they need to find to rest in peace?: She never had a very good relationship with her parents, leaving home when she was only 16. It has been one of her greatest regrets that she never reunited with them in life, and so is determined to do it after death.
Other: In a building she’s haunting, you can often hear an eerily beautiful, disembodied, operatic soprano voice coming from seemingly empty air. Maybe we could work that into the RP as, like, the way that the kids find Christy in the first place?

Hi! I'd love it if we could make some of the charries just a teeeeeny bit more diverse (not that anyone who's already posted their charrie has to change anything, just for the people who haven't joined yet). Like, maybe some ghosts could have just recently died, some passed away centuries ago- and probably from different social classes, too? Also, if we could make some male ghosts that would be awesome.

It miiight be a bad idea to sign up for a RP, but this seems intriguing and I'll try to keep up with it. I'm reserving a character... I'm not sure which, as I forgot to count how many there are if each. I'll be connected to whoever doesn't have anyone yet. I am VERY flexible.

Appearance (features, hair and clothing- they all appear a shimmering bluish-white in color): Pale blue eyes, platinum blonde messy boy cut hair, pale skin
Personality: fierce, snarky, not mean but can be, stuborn, confident
Cause of Death: cancer, she was too poor and nobody helped her so she died on the streets
Connection to Ashmire:she had heard of it and was searching for it hoping it could help her.
What building/object do they haunt? (one of the houses, a certain store, library, etc.): the town square if that makes any sense
What do they need to find to rest in peace? (a treasured posession, their family, lost love, etc.): Liana needs revenge on the people who let her die.
Other:In the town square she can be seen sitting on the ground or hiding in the shadows. She will scare people.
