What kind of help are you looking for? Unfortunately, I'm not the best for giving advice, but if I know a little more about what you're looking for I might be able to help. I hope you get over your block soon, you and AFountainPen.

I searched a little, and saw some advice that suggested writing down your dreams. I think it meant you're supposed to base a story off of your dreams. Now, this latter idea isn't as good (one I made up) and sometimes you just can't do it but here it is: Think of nothing. at least try. Then, stop. What's the first word to come into your mind? Yeah, the first idea's better.

Find something you deem 'good', as in beautiful or cute, and describe it and how it makes you feel. Go into ridiculous detail, and make sure that you see it as what it is, not as you see it, if that makes any sense.

Write these findings down on a peice of paper and put the paper where you can find it easily again. Then, in one week or so (it's best with two weeks but it's easy to forget), open up the paper and read it. Form the picture in your mind solely on your description of the thing. Then, compare it to the thing itself, but only after you've made the mind picture. 

What I do is wait... look around you for inspiration. Read a REAL good book, maybe one that isn't in the genre you usually read.
