Eyy! I’m writing a bunch of spooky stories inspired by a bunch of eerie gothic posts I found online. The series it titled:
Misty Mysterious
Here’s the first story:
Misty Mysterious: Last Georgia Trip
Hi, I’m Misty. I don’t know why, but strange things are always happening to me. Check this out. Maybe you’ll see yourself in these stories. Find me online or in real like if you do.
Every year, my immediate family and I take a long road trip across pretty much the entire United States from California to Georgia, we’re most of my extended family lives. Without doubt, something happens every year during that road trip, in the car.
During last year’s trip, something strange happened as always. We were almost in Atlanta, and I was drowsy from the long ride.
We kept passing a sign that read, “Atlanta - 60 Miles.” The first couple times, I didn’t pay very close attention. After that, I started to notice that we passed the same sign every time. I tried to count, but every time I lost count after 10 or so. I tried to measure the amount of time too, I kept looking at my wrist for my watch. But every time I looked, my wrist was bare. I guess I left it at home. Odd. I swore I had brought it.
I don’t know how many times we passed that sign, but after a while, I felt someone shaking me. I jumped, and seemingly was in a different place.
“Misty, we’re here! You fell asleep for the rest of the ride. We were only sixty miles from Atlanta, too!” My mom said from the front seat.
“Oh, weird,” I said, faking a laugh. No one believes me when I tell my stories. I blinked. For an instant I passed the “Atlanta - 60 Miles” sign again. As soon as I opened my eyes I was back.
The strange thing was, every time I closed my eyes while I was in Georgia I saw the road and the sign telling me Atlanta was sixty miles away. It didn’t stop until we passed that sign on the way home.

There shall be more to come! And if all the spaces in the paragraphs are extra long, it’s because I copy-pasted this from my phone’s notes app so it’s a little messed up.

That. Is. So. Weird. But AWESOME!!
Did you make up that story?
Whether you did or not, it's super nice that you shared it. Yay!
Ooh, it gives me the chills

I did, but I didn't. So the storyline of endlessly passing "Atlanta - 60 Miles" is the short story post that I was inspired by, but the part about the character falling asleep and going on vacation in Georgia with her family is all me.
