Help?So, for
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Help?So, for
Help?
So, for my gifted support class I'm doing something and I would like your advice.
We've been studying identity and perspective this unit, and to finish up we have to make a project defending a related idea.
I chose "My identity and perspective are constantly changing" and decided to write a poem. I'd like to see your thoughts on it.
*clears throat*
A person flows
Like a river
Through life
Everchanging
Our identity
For we cannot stop
The current of events
That throws us around
And shakes us upside down
And when it stops
We might look around
And wonder
If the grass was always such a brilliant emerald green
We might look in the mirror
Every morning
After a sleepless night
Filled with worrying
Or a quiet one
Laced with peace and rest
And the mirror
Might reflect
Someone who wasn’t there
Yesterday
Someone wiser
Someone stronger
Someone sadder
Someone new
Our river flows
Through tough waves
And gentle passages
Never a set form
An everchanging
Identity
Thanks in advance!

Wow. That's really good, Neko! I love the message, and I think it comes across really well. Nice job!

This is very yes.
My only thought is to maybe add punctuation, but that's up to you.
