Chatterbox: Inkwell

A poem, in honor of our wonderful imposter Akira. Hope you like this sloppy vent.

Monster

You fancy yourself a monster

King

Ruling over everything

You see

With an iron fist

To repel our magic

A wolf in sheep's clothing

Pretending to be

One of our herd

But then leaping out

To bite and tear

Us apart

You're a ringleader

And we 

Are your circus monsters

For your entertainment only

We get mad and perform tricks

Of yelling

"Stop"

And does it work?

No, it does not

You just sit and laugh

Except the few

Who decide

They won't do anything

Go ahead king

Sit on your throne

How does it feel?

Congratulations

Nobody cares

Have your victory

Easily won

It'll get boring fast

To rule over a land that just sits and carries on

With no rebellion

But you can do that if you want!

Here's a final feast

Of attention

Bask in it

Your few days of fame

It was fun

But I'm done
