A singel word
Chatterbox: Inkwell
A singel word
A singel word on paper
Nor that times ten thousand
Will equal the greatness of time
And in the center
We stand just a speck
In a galaxy of stars that shine
Our lives may make history
In the books of our people
But will it really last?
Time will go on
And we will fade
Our bones a ghost of the past.
To be dug up.
By someone.
Who will know that we died here.

And when death comes for us all
Let us not shy away
But take it as a gift
Something to be treasured.
A chance to give up what Life gave you and live again
Fearing death is like fearing life
So let us instead simply accept death
Let us not vilinize him
But just accept him for what he is
Not something to be feared
So feel peace
The peace and certainty that, no matter how bad it gets, death will come. Not as an escape, but as a journey to another place.
So yes. Your poem inspired me to do that, I like it, Pooki. It's a lovely poem you've made.
