I'm thinking about asking my parents to let me do NaNo, (along with getting more computer time so I could maybe start doing roleplays on the CB again) and I had just one question: after you make a NaNo account, can you change your username, or not? I'm a little apprehensive about choosing my username (I am so ahead of myself, I don't even know if I'm going to be able to do NaNo) because I've sort of always regretting younger me choosing the name "Leafpool" for the CB (I could care less about Warriors now) and there are so many aspects of other CBers' names that I like.

Oh yeah, just go to profile and you can change anything you originally wrote. People change their usernames all the time for CAYCD.

I'm debating between Calypso/Calipso or blue/brown_iris/iriss for usernames, but maybe my real name or 2yuyu, my Minecraft name and what used to be a name I used for another game site.

I keep hearing about NaNo, but I don't really know what it is. How do you sign up?

The next official NaNo event is in November, which takes place on the YWP site. Your goal is to write a novel or lengthy work during X month. If you google YWP NaNoWriMo, the appropriate site will show up with clear instructions on how to register. I hope you join!

Yes, you can change your usernames on the ywp site. But only three times within a span of thirty days, for some reason. I changed mine three times without realizing it, and I got stuck as that username for 15 days. T^T But if you're not changing it over and over, you should be good to go. We'd love to have you join us in the CB Classroom, Leafy, if you do end up joining NaNo! There should be an entrance code thingy around here somewhere that we could give you...
