The grim reality of existing

Is that wherever you are, someone judges. 

Because I don't eat with the same utensils as you

am I primitive?

I am an outsider where I am

I am and always will be

Can I change my eyes?

No.

Is it my fault my eyes look like that?

No.

Then please don't judge.

Because I know that you would hate it

If someone judged you.

What if I said

"Who eats with forks?"

"That's weird,"

You wouldn't like that.

So to everyone who's ever judged me

Stop

It hurts.

i. people don't know

the pain that

a single remark can create

sticks and stones can break my bones

but words can break my heart

 

ii. i try to see no bad in difference

only new, cool, and interesting

 

iii. i try not to judge

Thanks to both you and everyone else for being so supportive to me. Sometimes I need that.

I particularly agree with ii. Unless, of course, the difference causes actual harm. But that was obviously not inteded with that meaning.
