Crazy RR!

Hey! I wanted to host a Round Robin for the first time ever, and I recently got an idea from a game I played.

I wanted to start with a single sentance. and see if we can move the story to it's end, a completely unrelated sentance. For example, if the first sentance was "She slowly swam underwater. Being a mermaid was definitely the life for her.", and the last sentance had to be "The cow ate the cheese sandwhich.".

Basically, treat this as any normal RR--just give the story little nudges towards it's ending. It is basically a normal RR anyways--just with a small twist and a set ending.

The first sentance is up to you. The last is: "Nothing is set in stone, and nothing will ever be--but everything is set in time."

Awesome! I'd love to be a part of this! Here's the first sentence:

Leaning against the wall, I trace the constellation of pimples on my forehead.

Apparently, immortality can keep you young forever but not beautiful forever.

What oh what was that saying I heard, oh yes, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", if only there was someone to behold me, if only I wasn't alone.

Who would've thought that a tiny enchanted pebble could cause skin problems?

I put the sentences together so it reads smoother. And I think it's okay to add more than one sentence.

Leaning against the wall, I trace the constellation of pimples on my forehead. My golden eyes are reflected in the mirror before me, and I meet my own gaze as my fingers continue to move. Apparently, immortality can keep you young forever but not beautiful forever. Who would have thought that a tiny enchanted pebble could cause skin problems? Beauty is on the eye of the beholder, they say... If only I wasn't alone. I had no idea the punishment would be so harsh. Solitary confinement! What kind of a "suitable admonitory action" is that? I call it cruel and unusual. Not that knowing would have dissuaded me -- I never planned on getting caught.

My captcha says Ebbi. She has a name! Come on, Ebbi, stop chewing on my fingers. Go eat some dandelions.

I swung my backpack back and forth on my shoulders as I walked along the busy street. Crows cawed. A murder of crows.

I stopped by the candy shop anyway, even if just to look. A boy was there; I recognized him from my class, though I didn't know his name and had never spoken to him. He smiled at me when I walked in—a real smile, the kind that makes your heart flutter stupidly when you don't want it to.
