Hello, this is
Hello, this is Rogue.
I am trying to make a role-play thread and I have the feeling I just did, so... If I did, then this RP thread is for kids who have been abandoned by everybody. They have mysterious powers. I personally don't care about OP-ness so have at it, the only restriction being greater consequences for greater powers. For example, my charrie, Rogue, has power over time, space, and the dimensions, basically Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all in one. She does not have much control over her powers, especially not time and dimensions so she only uses those for emergencies.
Name: Rogue
Age: Middle teens
Appearence: Straight, reddish brown hair that goes a little ways past her shoulders. Striking green eyes. Average height. Usually wearing a black hoodie and jeans, and she prefers to go barefoot, but when there's stormy wheat her she puts on her socks and a pair of sneakers.
Powers: See introduction.
Consequences: See introduction.
If I did not just create an RP then I don't know WHAT I just did, but I hope whoever is reading this enjoyed it somehow. :)

Rogue~
Omnia wakes me up the next morning. As I open my eyes, the scrawny little pup begins to lick my face. She wiggles like a snake in a crane's beak on my chest. Thankfully, she isn't heavy enough to cause pain. I need to change that. I open up the pack of lunch meat I bought yesterday and feed a slice of it to Omnia. She wolfs it down, licks her chops, and looks at me in loving expectancy. I give her another couple slices. Omnia's muzzle curls into a contented smile.
~Time skip, a few hours later~
I look out at the people as they pass at the mouth of the alley my box is stationed in. They pass without a second glance, without any thought of what I've been through. Omnia sleeps by my side, twitching with her innocent dreams. I look back at the pedestrians. Just as I look up, a bunch of friends and two people, obviously in a relationship, pass by the alleyway. Then I feel the pull in my heart, just as I did in my dream.

~~Blade~~
Blade woke suddenly, sensing something strange. Something unfamiliar. Something potentially dangerous. He was on his feet with a dagger in his hand almost before he knew why. The night creatures seemed unperturbed, carrying on with their usual rythmic chorus. Not a typical predator, then. He glanced upward through the canopy of leaves. it was late, about one in the morning, he guessed. The presence could be anything, except a predatory animal. If it were such, the forest creatures would be in a panic. But all was calm. No alarm calls were sounding. He tilted his head, listening. Nothing unusual. Except! His practicedly accute hearing, coming from the many hours of turning into various creatures, picked up a sound any normal human would have missed. The slight whisper of branches, the rustle of dried leaves, the ripping sound of tearing cloth. All these told him the presence was a human, and it was moving towards him. Whoever it was, they were good. Good, but not expert. And Blade, fairly young as he was, was an expert. He rolled up the sleeping bag he'd been laying on top of and slid it over one shoulder. Done packing up. Now, to disapear. He glanced around, then turned into a field mouse and scurried into a particularly thick patch of brambles. Always useful to be able to turn into animals, he thought. Then he listened carefully. The human came closer and closer, stepping quietly and carefully. A pair of loafered feet came into view. Blade sniffed the air. This was a middle-aged man, maybe 50 or so. "Nothing. Must be gone. Hmm, what's this?" the man crouched and Blade saw his scratched legs and khaki shorts. Pale fingers sifted through the leaf mulch and came up holding a light - colored slip of paper. "What the-? Weird, some kind of riddle. 'Catch me if you can. I'll be in Riverside Village at 1. be there or I escape forever. Signed Guess my name and miss my game.' Huh. Riverside Village." Blade grinned inside as his special ruse was discovered. Good luck hunting nothing, mister, he thought evilly.

hope you like it!

Aha, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with this!
Chamelee~
I snatch slow falling from a piece of fluff and jump off the roof, into the alley, bounce briefly up to grab it, and hurtle under the nearest piece of shelter. The maintenence person makes a racket looking for me as I shove all the weightlessness I can muster into the little seed float, or try. It sticks for much longer than I can keep my cool for. My focus slips, my breathing tries to catch up with my heart, and my vision narrows, but suddenly freedom hits me like a sack of bricks and I fall over. A warm softness opens up below me, and I let my suddenly exhauste body tumble into it.
A few minutes later, I wake up and immediately curse myself for using my power so recklessly. A moment of listening and a quick glance around confirm that the maintenance guy hasn't found me, isn't in the alley. I take the opportunity to thoroughly break down.
Stupid stupid stupid why did I do that you're so stupid oh my gosh stupid never never again never again careful be more careful stupid stupid could've been stuck or found or died stupid idiot only luck but luck won't be there forever and always okay okay okay okay okay okay okay.
One sandwich isn't worth this. I have to be more careful next time. But I choke it down anyway and haul myself out onto the sidewalk. It's afternoon. I wonder where I'll be sleeping tonight.

Sorrelshine, to answer all of your questions, Rogue is 14, and it doesn't really matter where all of our charries are we're all going to meet up in the middle of nowhere anyway. Maybe find a portal that leads to a small camp where they all can stay. I don't really care. :)

Jax~
I wake up to the sound of rain on leaves. Opening my eyes blearily, I look up just in time to see a fat raindrop roll off the branch above my head and plop onto my nose.
Curse it, I think, why does it always have to rain in this bloody city?
I quickly readjust the old blanket that is hanging on the tree branches above my head. It isn’t he best block against the rain, but it’s better than nothing. Luckily, the tree I chose to set up camp in had big leaves, so the amount of water that hit the blanket was already minimized.
Leaning back against the trunk, I look out over the park where my tree is placed. The whole area was covered, for the most part, with dense foliage, with running and walking paths winding in complicated patterns through it all. It was too early in the morning for the regular joggers, and since it was raining most of the creeps that usually hung around had taken shelter. Including me.
I feel a tickle on my arm and look down to see a large and hairy spider crawling up my forearm. I freeze, then slowly bring my other hand up above the spider. With a quick movement, I bring my hand down and smash the spider, then quickly rub my hand on one of the branches beside me.
Not for the first time, I curse the person who gave me the fear of spiders. It was a female police officer who had kicked me out of one of my shelters a couple of years ago. She had sneered at me and called me useless and a delinquent, then proceeded to “confiscate” all of my belongings.
I had shown her her fears almost without thinking, and I still smiled when I thought about her horrified and terror-filled expression. She had run screaming down the road, batting at spiders that only she could see. It was worth the arachnophobia that came afterwards.
I bundle my coat around me and sigh, looking up at the leaf canopy above my head. The sound of the rain is calming and relaxing, and pretty soon I’ve fallen back asleep.

~~Blade~~
Blade slipped expertly through the busy side streets and twisting back alleys of New York. He'd traveled north since the man had found his campsite, moving by night and resting by day to avoid people. He was looking for his old campsite, in an alley in Midtown. Almost there. He sighed to himself. He always seemed to end up back here, no matter how far he roamed. He wondered why. Why here, of all the places in America? Why this city? His train of thought was cut off as he arrived at the same old alley. Exept for one thing new. A medium sized cardboard box with a rough, torn blanket in it. Interesting, Blade thought. Someone else lives here. Inside was a small black puppy that growled at him. He stepped past the box and began setting up camp. Once that was done, he turned into a dog only slightly larger than the puppy so as not to intimidate her. The puppy growled at him again. Go away, changeling! This is my human's camp! We don't want you! Blade sat down in front of her and waited until she was quiet. Who are you? The question was calmer, but still angry. Call me Blade. He sent. I'm a traveler, and this alley is my usual camp. Since when? The puppy sent angrily. Several human years. Just then, a human entered the mouth of the alley. A barefoot human with a black hoodie and jeans. A girl, with red-brown hair and green eyes. "Who's this?" Blade stood and trotted in dog form around the corner. Amoment later, he walked back in human form. "What the-?" "Call me Blade." The girl eyed his outstretched hand suspiciusly, so he pocketed it. She was maybe a year younger than him,around 14. "Rouge." Blade nodded, not at all suprised at the unusual name."and this is?"he asked, pointing at the puppy. "Omnia Mihi. Now, what are you doing in my alley?" Blade snorted. "Your alley? I've been coming here for years."
~~~
That was kind of an abrupt ending but I have no idea what to do next sooo... I'll leave it to you Rouge.
Nheo says epig. Yes, my stories are epic. What? I am not a pig! You're a pig! You ate that entire patch of dandelions in one bite! No you can not have any more! Yafn. Nheo! Don't you yawn at me! Go to your room! True.. Then go to my brother's room! And don't look so sulky, you deserve it! *Nheo sulks off*
Sigh. Troublemaking CAPTCHAs. Oh well.
HeArT... I love this ship already!
Rogue~
A boy, about one year older than me, hold out his hand.
"Blade." He absentmindedly run his fingers through his raven-black hair. His eyes flash silver. I don't know what to think, as no one has ever held a hand out for me. However, I do know that my name is a reqirement.
"Rogue." Blade pockets his hand when he realizes that I am not going to do anything with it. Something about him reminds me of the couple who passed the alleyway earlier that week. Omnia is still growling quietly at Blade.
"Excuse me, I have to take care of my dog." I say to Blade. He sidesteps to let me pass. I press my hand onto the black puppy's forehead and stroke it. "Shhh, it's okay. Blade is a friend." I look at Blade with a look that says "Right?". He nods and smiles slightly. Omnia chuffs gently. "Eyy, don't do that. Did you not just hear what I said?" I tap Omnia on the nose and she licks my hand apologetically. I feed her a slice of lunch meat. I myself eat a sandwich, and offer one to Blade. He takes it.
"Thank you." He says.
"You're welcome." At least we both have manners. I smile. Maybe having an alleymate won't be so bad. I stand up. "I'm going to the store. Do you want anything?" Blade has his mouth full, so he just shakes his head. I turn to Omnia. "Be nice, girl." Then I leave. When I make it to the store, I pick out a harness and a leash for Omnia, and another pack of lunch meat, specifically turkey. I bring it all to the cashier and pay. It's the same woman from ac couple days ago. She eyes me suspiciously when she sees the dog harness and leash.
"Mind your own buisness." I say as she opens her big mouth, like a crimson wound on her sharp face. She shoots me a dirty look, as if to say she lives for gossip. I get back to Blade and Omnia. When I show Omnia the harness and leash she wiggles with happiness, because now she'll be able to go places with me. She's such a smart dog. Blade chuckles.
"What?" I ask.
"You should have heard her while you were gone. You know, she's really devoted to you. How long have you had her?" Blade answers.
"A few days."
"Really? Wow, you must be really good with animals, then." I shrug and look down at Omnia, who is smiling next to me with her harness on.
