I've been writing
I've been writing some lyrics, but I got stuck. So far it's "The first time I saw you, my eyes truly opened. I knew that you were the one,.....". Any ideas?

What are you going to use the lyrics with? Guitar, just singing, or something else?? No, I don't have any suggestions... I stink at writing music. My brother, on the other hand, is amazing at it, and he writes songs, records them, and makes CDs. Sometimes, he sends them to his friends, one of which is currently going to that college for really really good musicians in NY, but I currently don't remember the name.[Juliard?] He always replies and (usually!!) says he LOVED the song! Our local radio station does a thing every week, where they put local musicians on the radio, and give other people free iTunes downloads for the song. Clay, my brother, may do it!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

How about this?
The first time I saw you, my eyes truly opened. I knew that you were the one.
Now, here with out you, the world seems to stop moving, and I don't even know where you've gone.

OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!:):):) Another songwriter!:):):) I am the lead singer/songwriter of a country band that my brother, sister, and I made. I have written 18 songs, and know how easy it is to get stuck in the middle of the verse, chours, and even the beginning!:):):) It can drive me crazy!:):):) Have you written many songs? A really good way to start a song, is make a poem first, without ANY tune so you don't have to worry about the beat of anything, and when you're finished, find one part that really catches your eye, and make it the chorus!:):):) I've written at least 4 songs that way!:):):) I LOVE songwriting!:):):)
